After all of those yrs. that you pay car insurance, is it true that the only way that you can get that money is to get into an accident? am i supposed to by a christmas gift for the mother of my daughter?

my daughters mother and I do not get along, but i was told that i should buy her a christmas gift. She is with someone else now, but i am not. I do not want to purchase something and then make it seem like I want to be with her. i could care less if i received anything from her and i feel she thinks the same.
if i am supposed to get something, what should i buy? maybe one of those baskets from bath and body works? i am clueless and maybe putting too much thought into this.

Problems with opening more than one window at a time on my PC.?

When online, i can only look at one website at a time. For the last 24 hours i haven't been able to view separate sites concurrently.

When attempting to vew a second site it replaces the original page which i don't want to happen.

How do you handle a female that is trying to interfere with a 4 year relationship?

By no mean, am I worried about my man trying to get back with this "girl", however, this girl, in the past, never hardly had 2 words for his family, didn't like his sister, and now, after 4 years, everytime she sees his family, she has something to say, as if to say to me, I'm cool with the family, I know otherwise. This girl also has a child that she constantly ask his sister to watch. It obvious that this chick has "Alterior Motives" little does she know, he and his family keeps me posted on EVERYTHING. Would it be necessary to confront her....or should I just let it go as her being a miserable chick that is just trying to get in where she wishes she could fit in?

I know I'm a terrible person but...?

A friend of mine recently told me about this site called tattoopassions.com, she said it was a great way to meet artists from all over the country and that I should try it out. So I started my page then realized more people were on there to date, as opposed to just talking tattoos. About 2 days into my trial, this guy IMed me and we hit it off, and talked like everyday for a week. Now I'm SO not one to date people online, but he was really funny and had alot of similar interests. He had a couple pix posted, but really small, or far away, or with something covering part of his face and when I asked to see more, he always came up with some excuse why he couldn't send them. So finally last night we decided to meet up and... lets just say those pix were VERY VERY deceiving. And he knew that, thats why he didnt send more. So I had to have my sis do the "its-an-emergency-come-home-now!" thing and now I feel really terrible. I know I suck, ok. But any advice?

When was the last time Massachusetts didn't have snow on the ground for Christmas?

Okay so everyone in my work place started talking about how we always have seen some acqumilitive snow at least once before christmas. But this year we have only seen about 4 flakes total! if anyone knows when the last time we 'DIDN'T' have snow on christmas please answer this because us ladies of the office are dying to find out!

Confused 'Bout Diameter Of Hyperbola......?

We know that diameter of conics is defined as the locus of median points of the conics' parallel chords. For each given chord slope, there's a corresponding diameter.

But I'm confused with Hyperbola's diameter. Since a line would intersect its both branches and thus get 3 line segments. Suppose a line intersects left branch as AB, and intersect between left and right branch as BC, and intersects right branch as CD, then diameter of this hyperbola should be the locus of median points of WHICH line segment???? AB, BC, or CD?
