A friend of mine recently told me about this site called tattoopassions.com, she said it was a great way to meet artists from all over the country and that I should try it out. So I started my page then realized more people were on there to date, as opposed to just talking tattoos. About 2 days into my trial, this guy IMed me and we hit it off, and talked like everyday for a week. Now I'm SO not one to date people online, but he was really funny and had alot of similar interests. He had a couple pix posted, but really small, or far away, or with something covering part of his face and when I asked to see more, he always came up with some excuse why he couldn't send them. So finally last night we decided to meet up and... lets just say those pix were VERY VERY deceiving. And he knew that, thats why he didnt send more. So I had to have my sis do the "its-an-emergency-come-home-now!" thing and now I feel really terrible. I know I suck, ok. But any advice?

Shiat youre not terrible. He is for deceiving you. Looks aren´t everything, but they sure are a lot. You can´t fall in love with someone if you aren´t sexually attracted to. Duh.

Stay friends with the guy. It's his fault he put up deceiving pics. Though what you did was kinda mean, you guys are even now. Maybe you two will never be boyfriend and girlfriend, but you two should stay friends.

you don't suck..that person lied to you so it doesn't matter how you got out of there. that's happened to me but i just tell them to their face and didn't appreciate that but sometimes the nonconfrontational way is the better of the two,,you have nothing to feel terrible about...what i did online is that i won't meet anyone who doesn't have a cam so i can see who i am talking to because that happened to me more than once

You don't suck, He does! Don't feel bad about it... He lied to you and decieved you by making you think he was someone he's not. Just be upfront with him and tell him you didn't feel a connection or he's not really what your looking for.

you did what you had to do. dont feel bad. you should feel dumb for meeting up with someone you met online.. that could have ended really badly. be careful.

well if you're interested it's best to tell the truth up front, if he was being deceitful in the beginning then that's his fault he should have been truthful with you.

As mentioned earlier, PLEASE be careful with online dating. There are far too many men who pose as something they're not. These men could be married or using false photos to meet you. At that point, you could be in real danger. So PLEASE PLEASE be careful!!
