hard to say. whichever one is the most arrogant and closed minded. maybe if i took a closer look at them...but i usually avoid the religious questions simply because of all the bickering. but then again...it comes down to the person, not the religion.

anybody may be indignant with the help of someone trashing their faith, kind of like that is performed right here on R&S. besides the indisputable fact that, Christians and Jews at the on the spot are not regularly occurring to take to the streets and overturn autos and set them on fireplace, firebomb homes, and so on. over what someone has reported or depicted about their faith. The pope basically stated some thing reported thousands of years in the past, and the streets were crammed with mahem, sources destroyed, and so on. that would favor to be how we decide the religions. i keep in mind that there are Muslims on R&S, yet what I have reported actual has befell, and over very minor issues.

Actually it's atheists like me that are most easily offended by half-witted, ignorant, dimwits forcing their obscene views down my throat with a spade.
You religious freaks piss me off worse than if I'd accidentally crapped in my pants and sat in a bunch of stinging nettles.
Even writing this has made my blood literally BOIL in my veins and my guts have EXPLODED with RAGE!!!!!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!!!!!!!
I'll find you all if it's the last thing I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gnaaaarrrr!!!!!!!!!!!
(Tee hee hee :-) )

I don't think you can generalise in this way.
I think it's got more to do with people's individual psychology than the religion they follow.
All religions have a vast majority of nice, ordinary people, and a small minority of nutters who will take offence at anything.

The Christians take such a bad beating in America today that they are the least offended. Hell, you can joke on the Pope and priests on T.V. sitcoms but you can't say crap about rabbis and imams!

the religion that is most offending in my opinion is the muslims. they seems so serious about their religion that no one whether a believer or not should utter no disaprovals. it is very scary especially to their reactions and they wonder why others say things about their religions.

If you discuss your faith you are "shoving down my throat" says atheists.
yet often atheists bring up the subject of religion more often then people who have a faith. Just look at the questions in Q&A
And secular views are forced on more people than religious views are.
How many are forced to watch a nature program talking about evolution, "shoving a theory down my throat" and never talks about the creator. Seems all very one sided yet religious people are accused as being the ones who "force" their beliefs on people.

Islam for sure. They've been at war with their own people (Sunni vs Syiah, Moderate vs Radical, Fatah vs Hamas) since a long time ago. If they themselves are not coping one another, how come they build peaceful relationships with other religions ??
More detailed facts are around us, I'm sure.

This is about what offenses Jesus endured so that you would seek him friend:
Isaiah 53
1 Who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
3 He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he took up our infirmities
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered him stricken by God,
smitten by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed and afflicted,
yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before her shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
8 By oppression [a] and judgment he was taken away.
And who can speak of his descendants?
For he was cut off from the land of the living;
for the transgression of my people he was stricken. [b]
9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
and though the LORD makes [c] his life a guilt offering,
he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.
11 After the suffering of his soul,
he will see the light of life [d] and be satisfied [e] ;
by his knowledge [f] my righteous servant will justify many,
and he will bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, [g]
and he will divide the spoils with the strong, [h]
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.
