Basically I just want to know what ID I need to take with me to the French consulate - the website is useless and doesn't provide any clues at all.

Also, does anyone know how long it takes to actually get the new passport - I seem to remember it only taking a few mins last time but I can't be sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was stuck in traffic today, and the amount of women that have little stuffed bears littering their dashboard and in once instance, cushions on the back seat.....

What the hell is all that about? Why do you feel the need to have stuffed animals and little signs like 'princess on board' when really you are not princesses and many of you are hideous looking creatures?

My boyfriend dumped me when i needed him most, when i was going through a bad bout of depression. Everything in his life is suddenly going really well (he's got a good new job, new car and his band are getting lots of success on radio, just when i dont need to know!) and I'm finding it really hard to accept that he doesnt want me in his life anymore. Any tips and advice for getting on with my life? I know time is a healer but i still love him and i just cant get him out of my mind!

I'm thinking of getting a cam recorder. With my still camera I dislike using flash indoors or poor lighting conditions as it disturbs the people I take phots of. I myself am visualy impaired and know how flash disturbs what vision I have left. You may be able to advise which cam I should go for of max bugit of £300 as well.

Here in Australia in the country regional area we have been told it is an tolerable acceptance for the mother to be both dependant on perscription and illegal drugs (both of which she abuses) and prostitution is acceptable, her boyfriend is also a drug addict and is allowed to look after the children when she is out 'working' even though they were taken from her care 12 months ago 'cos he poured petrol over their car and threatened to light it while the kids were in it and has also tried to hang himself and felt it his place to tell the 10 year old girl why mummy is a prostitute and what a prostitute does. These people are in their late twenties, don't work (personally I do not consider 'prostitution' a work option, here we have access to government institutes for further education and such)The towns are only small populations under 30,000 so the kids are eventually going to have to deal with hearing things about mummy. I think it is selfish and immature am I wrong if not what to do.

Over two months ago I painted my bedroom with a standard, interior white paint (possibly latex based). I believe I’m currently suffering from an allergic reaction to the fresh paint. If I spend longer than 5 minutes in my room I begin to sneeze, after 10 minutes my eyes become itchy. It’s also causing my nose to become very runny! As a result I’m finding it difficult to get a satisfactory nights rest. I’ve started sleeping with my back door open, to air out my room but as the weather is getting colder this won’t be ideal for much longer. Any suggestions on how I can fight this allergy or is it something that should ease off as the paint continues to settle? Cheers!

I would like to know the universities and the affliated colleges which offer this course in the msc level... can you also say me if there is a college in this world offering exomicrobiology as a course!!!? what are the subjects that would be in the syllabus of marine microbilogy? is there a practical paper? if so, should the person know swimming and diving to know it? if a person studies that course, where can that person work and are there any companies to offer a job to such a kind of person?
