At many special school functions there is a particular group of kids who are 'very much favored' in regards to being chosen for special roles, activities, etc.. I know this goes on all over the place, but I don't feel that it is right. These childrens' parents all grew up together, they all live near one another, go to the same churches, and basically have a good support group within their group. So the kids all know and play together frequently. Having not grown up here, I don't know many of these folks, although I have been a volunteer in different capacaties for years here, often benefitting said kids/families, but still do not feel welcome. There is a heavy 'queen bee'/bullying attitude involved here. I feel that although my kids aren't part of this clique, they should be able to participate in school functions just as much as the 'bees'. Am I stepping over the line by going to the school and making my attitude known about this?

not that I am lonely yet. Just a simple question. My Fiancee passed away 7 months ago and people are trying to hook me up with different people telling me to get out more. So last night, I had the unfortunate experience of my XBOX360 randomly switching off and giving me the 3 red flashing lights (hardware failure/issue). My question is though how in the other room, the only thing that flashed off and on was a stereo receiver which is attached to a surge protector? The puzzling part for me is how only 1 thing out of 6 on the same surge protector in the other room experienced what I would describe as a power surge and if the Xbox in the other room somehow caused it or if the stero somehow caused the XBox surge.

I like Doctor who and have always been a fan (of the new series didnt pay much attention to the old ones)

And ive watched Torchwood lately but ive noticed it seems to write off the whole Heaven and God Issues. Claiming that when people die they just go into a world of Darkness. However In Doctor Who the Doctor came face to face with the Devil And he even entered Hell or another world believed to be hell but he claimed that the Devil was just an Alien and He decieved us all by making us believe in religion or somthing like that!

As A Christian i am offended by all this and think it is a selfish point of view from the Director or script writer. People Tend to find it easy to insult Christians yet they are always carefull not to slag off Muslims why is that eh!!!????

Hi, I've been dumped by a guy 3 weeks ago... our relationship only lasted 2 months, but I liked him for more than half a year and I really expected more... and I still couldn't get over him.
There is a cute guy at my college who likes me and I kinda like him but I still think way too much about my ex.
Should I hook up with the new guy to help me forgeting the ex?

I met a wonderful man who I talk to on the phone 3-4 times a day. For the last month we have had some really intense, romantic conversations, and talked about a lot of personal things. Now he says he needs some space and some time to work on these personal things (I know what they are). He wants to slow things down between us. He wants to continue to talk and stay friends but doesn't want to speak romantically anymore, at least not until he gets his personal life straightened out, to be friends and see where it takes us from there. Is this possible, to move backwards and forget the things we spoke of in the past? Is it possible to slow down and continue talking and make it back to the romantic feelings we both feel for each other?
