the first thing that comes to mind is rude. But keep in mind, there may have been a reason for the hang up. If there was a good reason, forgive. If not, let the person iknow they are rude.

Depends on why they hung up. If someone hangs up on you, they are normally angry. Or someone walked in that they didn't want knowing they were talking to you. Without more details, who knows.
People should learn to give relevant information when they ask questions on here.
