I would try a good leather cleaner first, and then probably a dry cleaner. The chemicls they use will probably kill all the spores of the mold that you can not even see.

Try wiping the entire thing with a soft cloth soaked in vinegar and then wrung out to be only damp. This should remove the mold and prevent further growth. A good cleaning with saddle soap should restore the jacket, if it is smooth leather and not suede. You might add a dehumidifier near the area the jacket is stored.

A mix of rubbing alcohol and water should do the trick. We used this based on a recommendation for mildew on a leather coat and bag.

Clean the leather with Saddle soap. (for leather shoes)

Try wd-40.It can get rid of most everything.

Try some Amonia it'll keep it from spreading.
