Sorry folks but I have to agree with the question. What is this country coming to. We will indeed be outnumbered, when are the government going to do something. Are they waiting until an immigrant is running the country.

I think that you will find it is only the very rich and the very poor who have large families.
I lived in an area in Birmingham where there were lots of single parent families, young girls who had 3 or more children with different fathers, a woman in her 30s who had 9 children all to different men you read every other month about some 13 year olds having babies, a Muslim with 2 wives and 13 children at present they are still in their 30s had two houses knocked into the one.
If this Government stopped giving hand over fist to all these inadequate parasites Foreign or British, we would see a reduction in the birth rate.
Live in Britain have loads of children why work!! you get more from the D.H.S.S you don't have to worry.about your rent the council will pay for the honour of having you in Britain no matter what colour or creed you are, or where your loyalties lie.

I guess that would depend on the immigrants legal status, as long as the immigrant is here legally and able to support their family without public assistance, I don't care how many children they have or what color they are as long as they speak English while conducting business in America.

What bothers me, is when people continue to breed when they are unable to support their family. They make no effort to better their circumstances through education but instead count on the government to feed and clothe them, put a roof over their heads and provide their medical care.
Birth control is free and available at your local health department.
If you are old enough to have sex be responsible enough to do it wisely, with protection.
I don't worry about what might outnumber me as long as their IQ is larger than their shoe size and they have the ability to abide by the law.

Wake up and smell the coffee, whites are a minority already. South & SE Asians and Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, etc, constitute about half of the world's population of about 6 billion. All of Africa and about a billion more with another billion being in Mexico and Latin America. All of the world's "caucasians" (including Middle easterns who are technically whites, though might not appear it, the US Census counts them as whites and after all where are the Caucus mtns?) comprise less than a Billion.

But don't worry, actually the way it works is that when there are fewer of a type of people, the more "in-demand" they are considered. It is the old supply vs. demand issue. No wonder blondes and redheads are so sought after and even prominient successfull blacks marry Blondes (etc. Tiger Woods).

Finally, I do not think race has to do with how many children you have. Education and affluence have more of an effect. The more educated and well-off you are the fewer children you will have. I know many Ph.D's (including myself) who don't have a single child, we do not depend on our children (like other poor ppl) to either support ourselves, rely on in old age, or to get gov't welfare. Many European countries are actually having a negative birth rate since many of the native borns decide not to marry or have any children.

US is lucky that our immigrant population is making so many babies, because that will ensure that we have a native born work force which will continue funding out social security registers as well as keep growing our economy.

A couple in the South,confirmed rednecks with 9 children went to visit the family Doctor to have the man "fixed" curiously the Dr.asked why? they already had 9. their reply was, they had recently read an article that in the U S one out of nine children born, are Hispanic,Since neither one spoke Spanish they didn't want to take any chances!!

The statistic 2.4 comes from the early 90's....I'm sure it's less now, seeing as alot of women wait until their 30's and are having less children. So it may not take 4 generations - particularly since the number of (illegal) immigrant families and the number of kids they have isn't very well documented...

No. "We" includes the children of immigrants who are educated in the USA and grow up to act and think like . . . YOU!

Not all "Americans" are white; not all "immigrants" are non-white.

Unless you are Native American or Mexican-American native to the territories seized from Mexico in the Mexican wars, you are descended from immigrants yourself.

(There are some ethnic groups who do not assimilate or integrate; these are mainly but not exclusively Muslim and Arab. The reasons are unclear; and Christians and Jews from the same regions -- bearing the same DNA qualities -- do assimilate, which makes analysis baffling.)

It seems,tho that with each generation, the immigrant family's are becoming smaller.This is due to their pursuit of a better lifestyle and learning that its beneficial to them financially, to have less children.They are able to do more for each child if there aren't so many.

But then again you have people from racist radical groups that want the immigrant to continue having very large family's to help with their "take over the US " agenda.Like this group below.

Interesting question. People can have as many kids as the want and can take care of. What does that have to do with immigration? What exactly are you scared of????
