i used to drink 4-5 cans of soda per day and absolutely no water. now i drink 1 or 2 cans of soda per day and 3-4 bottles of water.

will i lose weight, and how fast will i notice it? i'm not heavy and looking to lose 50 lbs...just so you all know.

From observations on Y!A and real life, the following seems to be true:

Christians do not get along with Pagans.
Christians do not get along with Atheists.
Atheists get along with Pagans.

Atheists -- who have no belief in any sort of Deity -- get along pretty darn well with people who are abundant in the belief of Deity.

Why is this so?

she has just been told she has 9 monthes to live. another problem is she started an addition to the home adding a whole 2nd story. come to find out she doesn't have enough money to finish it. now it's almost unliveable and rain is coming in. the laborers refuse to work without any more money being paid out so the project is at a stand still. what is good advice for my boyfriend. when she goes will the bank take the house can my boyfriend inheritt debt please help.

There is a girl in my school who I am really attatched to now. She has a class with me and we talk all throughout that. She is naturally very flirty but she does flirt more often with me and usually more personal flirting with me. She and I have known each other for a year and a half or so but I have just started likin her. She and I talk every night on the phone and if I don't call her, she will call me. She and I have gone out every weekend for a while now and when we are in the country in my car, she will put on some romatic music and get quiet and tell me to sing it. (Apparently she likes my voice.....I know this all sounds stupid haha). She is kind of shy but romantically flirty when she is around just me. This is all really long but I just want to kno if I should because she knows that I like her and her reaction was not bad but she just got quieter and sounded happy but confused a little bit.

Why are people completely addicted to confessing all thier emotional issues to others? I swear, if someone talks about being a bi polar skitzo with abandonment issues like it's a freaking badge of honor or an exclusive club, I'm going to be sick. Nothing wrong with issues, but what is the DEAL? You can't over come it so you brag about it? I guess my biggest problem is that the ones who talk most about their mental junk are the one's least likely to do anything about it. Take a pill already!!!!

christians, when they cannot logically defend christianity, will cop out and say something like "that's why it is called "faith"

you shouldn't have to use magical thinking to believe in something you have never seen.

the word faith shouldn't mean believing in something you can't see.
when you say you have faith in your spouse, you don't mean you trust that they exist. It means you trust that they will never fail you

It is a fallacy to say you need to have faith in god's existence.
If it was a matter of "technically believing" in God's existence, it would be no more that a sick game.
It should be about trusting that god won't fail you in this life.
