does anyone on here live there? if so, would you recommend moving there? if yes, what part of the state is the best part to live in?

Yes, I do and it's fantastic. You have the mountains and the ocean. Rain forests. Waterfalls. It's just beautiful.

The town I'm in now, Astoria (very most northwestern tip of the state) is the best town I've ever lived in - and I've lived in over 40 all over the country! Not too easy to find a good paying job though - it's not a big town.

Portland is great too, as far as big cities go, at least. And it's a good place to live if you have a IT job.

Oregon, geographically, is one of the most beautiful places on earth.. Politically? You better be a flaming liberal to get along there... the taxation is absurd, the laws border on police state, and during any given month the Local cops will have executed (shot ...killed) at least one or two unarmed citizens for simply failing to follow instructions... Beware.
