Don't you think the Lions should be the best team in the NFL?
I mean think about it. They have a great player at every positon.
QB Jon Kitna
RB Kevin Jones
FB Cory Scheslinger
WR Roy Williams & Mike Furrey
TE Dan Campbell
C Dominic Raiola
O. Line Eh, screw the O. Line
CB Dre Bly
S Kenoy Kennedy
LB Ernie Sims <---- ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
D. Line Cory Redding & Shaun Rogers ( If he wasn't injured)
K Jason Hanson <------- One of the greatest kickers in the history of the NFL
P Nick Harris <------ Has tons of potential to become one of the greatest punters
But, the only problem with this team is Mike Martz. He never lets Kevin Jones run the ball.

Dre Bly is old. Jon Kitna's average. The Lions are missing the most important thing (and you even noted it in your list)...the offensive line. Without the O-line, there is no offense. That's the same thing that's wrong w/ the Texans and the Cardinals. If you're going to rebuild a team like this, start with the line. Brady Quinn or Troy Smith could help, but they're going to need protection. They won't be able to do anything if they're getting sacked every play, which they will be when they play the Bears (twice a year). The Lions and the Cardinals are just perpetually bad. The Lions had arguably the greatest running back in NFL history, and still weren't able to reach the superbowl.

Nope most of the players on the Lions are average.
Kitna? just average..look at his stats
Kevin Jomes? always hurt, and would'nt you rather have Bush or Maroney?
nobody cares about FB's today.
Roy Willams? Yes I agree he is a stud, Mike Furrey is a possession receiver only.
Dan Campell? what stat whoes he lead the NFL in? Or even the top 5?
you dont care about the O line but that is a very important part of the team. The Lions have some good players there (like Woody) but he got hurt.
I coukd go on..your team has average talent on offense and a littl;e better than average talent on defense. And you have a coach who doesnt like pants. Nuff said.

It is hard for mike martz to run the ball when you are losing. however that offense is doing pretty good this season it is the defense that sucks. bly- 2 picks no pro-bowl this year. Kennedy- 1 pick. Redding- 7 sacks. Rogers- Roids not injuries. plus no chemistry how do you figure they should be the best in the NFL?

It wouldn't matter if Vince Lombardi was coaching the Lions; this team compiled of these players can't even get a winning record in the NFC.
By the way, the players aren't all THAT good. Kevin Jones is the only player on that list worth having on a fantasy football team.

Not a stupid question at all. He talks to me all the time. Sometimes he uses words. The bible describes him as the still small voice, and I think its a good description. When I am still, I can ask a question and many times he will answer. Casually and conversationally, just as a person might. There is a certain power that resonates with his words and I always know they are true. Other times he uses exterior signs and sometimes even other people. When I am still, sometimes I will ask a question, and another person will answer it, without having voiced the question out loud. They might even be talking to another person, but their conversation answers my question. Sometimes I catch a random bit of song, or a commercial that ties in with exactly what I am thinking. Sometimes I will catch a reference to the same thing several times over the course of a couple of days. This is usually a sign that I should pay some attention to whatever it is. His voice is all around us if we only stop to listen. If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice. Shane

The lions just pure suck, John Kitna was the BACKUP QB for bengals, and he sucks so bad!!! It will be like 10 years before they start to be a good team!!!

Their running game isn't going to get them any first downs.
I've never heard of those receivers.
Absolutely no Line.
Hanson can't kick 80 yards and that the best field postion they get.
Punters don't win games.
