Is there a way where I can directly stream a video to a friend similar to Shoutcast?

I am looking for a way to show my friends one of my videos. I am looking for a method which is similar to how people stream their music using Shoutcast. I know that there are websites such as Youtube, but I have a long video.

VLC. search google for VLC, should be the first link, it can stream video beautifully~!
