I have liked a guy at school, who happens to be from India, for a long time now. Just recently I got up the courage to give him my phone number and he called me. Now we e-mail eachother also. But I have heard so many horror stories and one of which is from a close friend of mine in which her ex who was also from India started out as a perfect guy and then abused her. So now I'm scared about whether or not he is being truthful or just using me. He is here on a student visa for only 2yrs. I like him but can not read him. I have tried to find out more about how his culture views women but have come to a road block. Please help!!!!!

Yes, I know about the Kinsey scale.

I have been attending Assemblies of God church for a couple of months but I have been told that dancing is wrong. This is hard for me to accept being that is what I love to do music and dance bring happiness to my life always and now religion dictates its wrong. What do you think?

We have been married for almost twenty years and have three wonderful children. We are both in our early forties and have a stable relationship. The other night she suddenly brings this up out of the blue saying that it is just something that she has to get off her chest. We weren't married at the time this happened, although we were dating but at different schools. She said she wasn't apologizing but felt that it was something that she neded to tell me.

I REALIZE that I am the one with the issue here and that was something that happened long ago. Neither one of us has ever been unfaithful and I freely admit that I love her now, then and always will. Ancient history that shouldn't matter but all the same I can't get the image of her and two guys, it was two guys, out of my head and it is driving me off my nut. Petty, small minded, childish on my part, ect, and I hate to admit to this, more than a little bit of envy.

Anyone else ever dealt with this and how did you do it?

I am having the most difficult time mingling with people I can never get anyone to follow up on dates I set. The most I get to have with a person is a short conversation. But honestly the problem might be me the only thing I really ever enjoyed doing was having sex. I need advice.

My ex says he cant support a child and give it the life he would like to give it. but i cant have an abortion i had one when i was 16 and i promise myslef i would never do that again. Im being selfish or is he? Happy or sad, maybe a little bit of both? Please tell us your story or why. I get sad around the holidays because my mom was buried on Christmans Eve. Add that to no more "little" kids since mine is an adult makes my sad. Wish I could get the HAPPY back to "HAPPY HOLIDAYS".
