My ex and I broke up two weeks ago, but its obvious that we still like each other. My best friend is a big flirt and everyone knows. She tends to go out with a guy then break up with him a day later. She knows I still like my ex. She told me today that she hated him and thought he was gross and would never go out with him. She also said that she was flirting with him and said she was sorry. Before we started going out she used to like him and decides to tell me after we started going out. And she's been telling me ever since we broke up the first time that he said he liked her. What do I do when my best friend likes my ex, but I still like him?

respect is very important in friendship. tell her to please give up on him and that you feel uncomfortable with the situation. tell her you may still have feelings for him and that you don't want to deal with seeing her with him.
she should be big enough to respect you and steer away from him, after all friends are more important than guys could ever be right.
if she does not respect you and keeps going on with him, honey, she does not respect you and is not worth your while. you would be much better off finding better Friends that actually care about you and how you feel.
life is too short to waste on people that don't care.

Obviously she is not your friend if she keeps trying to sleep with your ex-boyfriend. I feel like an ex-boyfriend is off limits to friends no matter how long you have been broken up. My suggestion is to talk to her, tell her that her flirting is making you upset. If that doesn't help, you might just have to leave her alone. Her trying to get with your ex-boyfriend is signs that she can't be trusted.

If your "best" friend is aware that you still have feelings for your ex and she is still after him for herself, I think you need to find new friends. Two weeks isn't a long time to be broken up. You and your ex need to decide if you really want to give it another or not.

Tell her the truth. Tell her that you are uncomfortable with the situation of her liking your ex. It is not right that she would move in on your ex, if she was really your friend she would back off and move on to something else.

Let go of both of them. Get busy enjoying life and your other friends. Take a drama class, it's more fun than making your own drama and you'll sleep better.

i had a friend like that...get rid of her! she obviously doesn't care about you or your feeling or she wouldn't do this to you. she should have told you before you started going out with him that she liked him. now that you dated him, he should be off limits to her!!!
