Your question is unclear, but it might be one of these:

3x * 2x² = 6x^3

3x * (2x)² = 3x * 4x² = 12x^3

law of exponents when multiplying two terms with exponents add the exponents and multiply the coefficients. If one term is missing an exponent assume the expo net to be 1 just as a variable without a coefficient is assume to have a coefficient of 1. Therefore 3x^1(2x^2) = 6x^3

3x times 2x squared?
Well, you have to get the value of 2x first.. After you get the value of 2x then you get it's square root. After getting it's square root then multiply it by the value of 3x...

hope this helps

6 x cubed. Solving for x is impossible unless you have an equation. 3x times 2x squared equals 48 is solvable for x.

(3x * 2x) squared

do the brackets first:

= (6x squared) squared

= 36x to the power of 4

36x to the power of 4 (power of 4 for the "X" only)

If you mean 3x*(2x^2) the answer is 12x^3.
If you mean (3x*2x)^2 the answer is 36x^4.
I think that you mean the former.

first multiply 3x and 2x which is 6x squared.
then, (6x squared)squared
which is 36x^4. 4 is the exponent of x. i hope you know that most brackets denote multiplication.
this helps i hope.

I would inerpret the question as asking "what is 3x * 2x^2", which is 6x^3, but it is open to interpretation.
