I'm writing a paper about an article about a georgia town which is very divided along black and hispanic lines. the story is about two ministers, one black and one hispanic, who have become friends (for over 10 years now). im writing suggestions on how the two ministers can encourage their communities to engage in positive interaction, and one of my suggestions is to hold a barbeque with both mexican food and "soul food." Im not sure if this is PC (politically correct) or not. is there another way to say "soul food"--you know, collard greens, corn bread, fried chicken, etc etc.--that would be more appropriate for a college essay? or is this the best way to describe traditional southern black cuisine (maybe I should call it that, tho not sure if its more general southern cuisine or considered "african-american food", for lack of a better term. please help!

Bush invade Iraq when our active duty troop strenght was only 500,000 men. He was advised by the military that it would take a force of 400,000 to bring law and order to post-Saddam Iraq.
Rather than reinstate the draft, Bush sought to train Iraqis as the needed security force. This approach has failed. Billions of dollars have been poured into Iraq, our equipment is quickly wearing out, and havoc in Iraq is spreading.
Do we have the backbone to do what is needed to bring law and order to Iraq? The people of Iraq cannot manage the country on their own unless law and order is established first. Without a stabilizing force, civil war will spread.
Invading Iraq was wrong, in my opinion. But, leaving the country in it's present state is also wrong. Winning the peace in Iraq will require reinstating the draft. Is America willing to do that, or tuck its tail and run?

About a week ago, I noticed that one of my back molars on the bottom was feeling a very sharp pain when I would eat or accidently grind my teeth together. Eventually there was a dull pain in about half of my bottom teeth - would that have just been radiating pain?

I was going to call the dentist on Monday, but by then all the pain was gone and I was eating without pain and everything. But then, yesterday (Wed), the sharp pain is back in my molar and about half of my bottom teeth hurt again too. I don't understand why it would come back.

When I first got it, I had been studying a lot and then it went away but now that I'm back to studying a lot, the pain is back. That's the only connection. I know it's not from grinding my teeth in my sleep, because I really haven't slept much the past 2 days.

I'm 19 and I've never even had a cavity so I'm confused. I also don't have a dentist here(college), so do you think it would be OK to wait 2 weeks til I go home to get in checked?

I have 2 daughters on their own both in relationships. I have a 17 yr old and an 8 yr old still @ home. All of my kids are girls. We do not have a close extended family so there wont be gifts from grandparents or aunts and uncles ect. Oldest daughter is in Iraq in the Army. I have always worked hard to make Christmas special for them due to the lack of extended family.

I live with my uncle. He supports me financially. He put me through college, and still paying for my grad school. Recently he's become an as-s. He insults me all the time, and calls me names. I guess it could it could amount to verbal abuse. On one hand i feel like i should respect him and lay low because he is helping me out. On the other, i feel like **** all the time and i cant take this anymore. He has been physically abusive at times. Im 22, and cant really afford a place of my own yet. You know he is only nice when he is drunk. other than that its like living with satan. I wish that one, day,i can move out at night and not even tell him. He is an ********

The underground energy resources of the earth are being exploited to provide electricity. Could not scientists find a way how to exploit the energy contained in volcanos. The heat within them is able to provide more than that required to operate all the electrical power stations of the world.
To the lay man, this seems to be an impossible task, but to scientists who are versed in the matter, they could surely find a way how to exploit such potential.
The main hurdle they will have to meet is the one raised by
oil companies. But in the long ran when forcebly oil becomes something of the past, the exploitation of volcanos will be there, ready to take over to activate the power stations.

I am desperate to figure out what is going on with me. I am a 37 year old female and about a week ago I started gettig a sore and stiff feeling in my hips, it has progressed rapidly to my ankles (now slightly swollen) also my knees and shoulders and elbow joints. What could cause such pain in all my joints. I can not imagine it is arthritis at my age and so sudden. Could it be a pinched nerve or a virus? it seems to be the worse when i am laying in bed at night and unbearable when rising in the morning. I cannot sleep because of the pain. It does seem to get slightly better when I am up walking around. Any ideas?
