My dad was never there for me for most of my life. Now he is there for me now and I live with him. I have my mom's last name but I want to change it to my dad's last name. Some people think it is a stupid idea. Some people say that I should not change it because I am a female and I will just get married and it will change again anyways. I don't even know if my dad will want to share his last name with me. Then there is my half brother and half sister. (we share the same father but have different mothers) They have our dad's last name too and I don't know if they would want me to have their last name. They don't live in the same state as we do. Their mom and our dad got a divorce and now they don't even get to see my dad or talk to him because their mom wont let them. So anyways.....I don't know if I should change my last name because my mom will be upset. I don't know what to do. Please help. Thank you.

if Abraham Lincoln signed the emancipation Prolomation in 1863, the why did the civil war stay until 1861-1865? wouldnt the emancipation proclomation just ban slavery everywhere? why were they still fighting? Or was the south rebbelling?

Government Warning regarding purchase of UPS uniforms:

There has been a huge purchase, $32,000 worth, of United Parcel Service (UPS) uniforms on eBay over the last 30 days. This could represent a serious threat as bogus drivers(terrorists) can drop off anything to anyone with deadly consequences! If you have ANY questions when a UPS driver appears at your door they should be able to furnish VALID I.D.

Additionally, if someone in a UPS uniform comes to make a drop off or pick up, make absolutely sur! e they are driving a UPS truck. UPS doesn't make deliveries or pickups in anything, except a company vehicle. If you have a problem, call your local law enforcement agency right away!

TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY! Tell everyone in your office, your family, your friends, etc. Make people aware so that we can prepare and/or avoid terrorist attacks on our people! my husband is going out of town today and he asked me this morning to get the kids ready and all of us go together. well it is my birthday tommorow and i already have plans with my friend who is coming in from out of town to see me. so i said no. he then gets so angry with me. calling me all kinds of names. well i told him fine i would cancel the plans i made for 2 weeks to go even tho i know it will not be good. he refused and left. come to find out he asked everyone at his work to go but they couldnt. so i feel like the last choice. should i be feeling guilty for not wanting to go? why would someone get so upset just because i already made other plans?

This is about the small percentage that say they never grew up around minorities. They are so aware of everything minorities do when they should treat us like they treat other white people. They hold their opinion about the other races based off of a few of those minorities. One black person is rude, it means every black person is rude, for example. Why can't that person just be rude? Not a BLACK rude.
