The best music is only found on the web, and almost never on the radio, it has many names but no clear "type". I do searches for Celtic Folk and Renaissance and such stations often have great music, but not always.

ALMOST exactly your type....I like hip-hop (no.1choice)..rap, classic rock (some) and I like some R & B.....lol....among my faves are Snoop Dogg, Missy Elliot, Will Smith...Lil' Wayne....lots more....good question..thanks!

I draw the line at opera or acid rock, however.

Only music played with actual instruments (Rock)......I like all types of rock....., but hardcore punk is my favorite.....
