My child has a project were they have to do a report on a winter celebration in Russia. Also share a dish that is eating in that country. My child is in the first grade. Any help on a recipe will be great.

Its that time of the year, exam time! The semester is almost over and my roommate and I are getting ready to go back home for the winter break, but we have come across a slight glitch. We bought a Beta fish this semester and we don't know how to take care of him over the break.

We were thinking of bringing him home with us, but we can't think of a good way for him to travel. Someone also told us that he can live without being fed for a certain amount of time, but we'd prefer not to have to resort to that.

I guess my question is really, how would you take care of him? We are going to be gone for almost a month, and my roommate lives and hour and a half away (I live 5 hours away, so I definitely can't come back just to feed the fish). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've seen him on a website that advertised dating for attached adults. He's 42 and seems to have lost all interest. I'm 33 and ready to rumble!! But this is really wrecking all my self-confidence, and I find myself doubting everything he tells me about where he goes and what he does. Has anyone ever saved a relationship that went through this? I do not want to suffer years of heartache for nothing.

I have known my boyfriend for three years now. We have been together on and off for 2yrs. I love him very much and I do believe that he loves me but he just doesnt really show it.We recently became engaged about 6 mths ago. Right at this moment I dont even know why we are together I'm more laid back and I like to go out here and there but he likes to go out to the clubs all the time. He's 28 starting out in music industry he knows people that are VIP. I haven't caught him cheating but i hear things that hes in the Club dancing with girls or he has a picture taken with one. When I confront him about all of this he tells me that there his fans and that he loves me. I do everything for him Im always there when he needs me both emotionally and financial. Just recently I was diagnoised with a medical condition I tried talking to him about it but he was too concerned about throwing his sisters party . I dont know what 2 do about us anymore I dont even feel like we r 2gether

I've been working out at the gym for quite sometime now. First I wanted to lose weight and I did manage to do that but I lost alot of strength during that process so now I'm doing weight training to increase my strength. Now I'm wondering should I go for good form doing the exercise or should I stack up some more pounds even if it's gonna mean doing some "cheat" or partial reps. The problem is that I don't have a training partner and I workout late at night so it's always difficult for me to get a spotter for the whole workout, so I just have to stick with "do it on your own" methods to increase my intensity.
What do you suggest: Good form less weights or poor form more weights??

Okay......so it's almost Christmas and we'll be having lots of family get togethers. We have the Auntie who is as wide as she is tall. She's just the sweetest person you could ever meet. She has damaged several pieces of furniture with her weight BUT...the worst part is her Hoo~Haa smells soooo awful, that it leaves it's lasting stench wherever it's been such as cushions,beds, car seats etc....

Can't she smell herself? I mean seriously....it's so BAD, nasty, gaggingly gross that NO ONE wants to hug or sit by her. The worst is having her sit in the front seat of the car with you when the heaters on uuhhggggggggggggg

I thought about buying her Teusday with Morrie,The five people you'll meet in heaven and For one more day, and having him sign them for her. She's read the first two(she borrowed them from me) and she hasn't borrowed the third.

In her horoscope, it is said that she may loose her husband after marriage. Hence she is so depressed. She has became so emotional that she has decided not to marry.
But i feel it is just for time pass. Not to decide our time. I told her several times that not to believe this that too in this century becomming so much educated this is a foolish act. what i have to do to her. I've noticed some of you said that babies have rosy cheeks when they are teething... Was this true for your little one? I didn't know this but have noticed that my son's cheeks have been rosy here lately and hes been "chewing" on his thumb. He really isn't cranky though. Teething maybe? He is 6 months old.

My husband and I are always mistreated or given the cold shoulder by whites in our community. Neither of us is 100% black. I'm black, puerto rican, and creole. My hubby is black and indian. We are lighter skinned (not saying that matters...I'm just stating all facts), well groomed, educated, articulate, and attractive people. We have a beautiful new baby who is cute as a button...so we get a lot of attention. Usually, it's older white people who frown their faces at us and act like it pains them to look at us. Why?

Now...I'm not one of those opressed black people who blaims "the man" for every bump in the road. I have taken my success into my own hands and worked hard for the accomplishments I've achieved. Yes, those ignorant blacks do exist (as do ignorant asses of all races) but we're miles apart from those people. Our class level is head and shoulders above the ghetto blacks in the inner city. Why r we unfairly treated by what my hubby likes to call "racist bastards"?

I have this laptop, it has 128mb of ram and it's 700mhz. I bought a usb DVD drive for it and tried playing a dvd on it. The dvd played alright, but it would slightly skip every 2 seconds no matter what dvd I played. When I plugged it in my usb port, it says something about my usb port can preform faster. So my question is, If I got a USB 2.0 adaptor would my dvds play good on the dvd drive? Thanks
