I've noticed some of you said that babies have rosy cheeks when they are teething... Was this true for your little one? I didn't know this but have noticed that my son's cheeks have been rosy here lately and hes been "chewing" on his thumb. He really isn't cranky though. Teething maybe? He is 6 months old.

Yep, sounds like teething. 6-months is a very normal age for a first tooth. The rosy cheeks I've never heard of though!! My son just chewed on everything he could get his teeth on. I would try to break him of the thumb-chewing though. Give him a toy instead. I've heard other moms give their children bags of frozen veggies, but that never worked for mine. He just really took to toys. Good luck!

I think they get the rosy cheeks due to the slight fever some babies get when teething. There not always cranky from start to finish so Id probably say your baby is teething.

My son gets rosy cheeks with every tooth - it's just all the saliva from his mouth irritating his skin.
