I'm new to the game, can anyone recommend any good sites (where i can bet freee/with pennies!)??

In China and Japan, we have ghost festival every summer, basically it's pretty different from halloween: we put food in front of the doors for wandering hungry ghosts, do not allow children to swim in the water coz there are water ghosts who drowned themselves when they were alive, those lonely ghosts eager to drag the children into the water to stay with them, we put the paper lanterns on the surface of water to point the direction for lost ghosts....and we do not wander in the street after sunset coz if a ghost sees you and follows you back home, you and your family will have bad luck all year.

We celibrate this festival every year, though I myself don't buy it at all....but when I talked about this with my American friend, he thought this festival is "offense" against God....Can someone explain it to me?.....

Ok, My husband and I live in my grandmothers old house. Our windows are sweating terribly.
The windows that are in the house now are only single pane and I know that they let a lot of cold air in. We have been putting plastic over the windows, but haven't gotten around to it yet this winter. I need opinions on what would be the best in the long run. Should we just buy storm windows, or should we hire someone to come and put in brand new windows. I know we would probably have to wait until spring/summer to have this done, but we like to plan in advance. How much does it cost to do either of these options? We have 8 inside windows, and 6 on an enclosed porch.
I am clueless when it comes to home repairs.

Extra info: We heat our home with 2 vent free gas stoves. We also keep a small electric/oil radiator in our bedroom to save on gas.

My boyfriend said he loved me, we go to the same small school and he calls everyday for bout an hour. He smokes and i try to get him to quit and then he drinks and whatever else. But he is such a liar. He said he doesn't smoke at school and he can kill anybody and he always cusses me out and tries to start fights and goes on dates with other girls and calls my friends bitches and he makes me feel so low, i know ur thinking why don't you just leave him? But just listen to my story- then today he gave my 13 year old brother 2 cigerets and pursuaded him to smoke. then he did and when i went to his class to yell at him and his friends, he looked at me with this evil stare that had writen "i told u i can destroy peoples life" i told him its over and cried all the way till i got home. He's such an asshole and now everyones talking about me crying. Just all i need to know is why r boys heartless????

Once upon time there was a man working as a bus driver, that bus was of 100 passangers size.
He used to travell between nieghbouring cities, with fixed price for each type of passangers, as follows;
'' 5 dollars for man, 2.250 for woman, 50 cents for a child''.
once he was travelling, driving his bus with 100 passangers in,
(( 100 passangers of the three different types of passangers,(men, women, children).)), when the bus arrived to the station of the intended city, they got off the bus after having paid the driver the required price for each,
after a while, the driver wanted to know how much money he got, he counted the whole money and found that he got 100 dollars???
he wants to know how many man, woman, and child were there in the bus during that trip, ((as they were all 100 passangers))!!!!!!!!!!

people from around the world. Yestday i gave a treatment to one guest (male) from switzerland and i kind of liked him on sight. He had kind and charming eyes and he's so polite.
From the usual general conversation i had with him, i learnt that he's single with no kids. He also asked questions like how old i was and if i had kids (he,looks older) am 25, no kids. I kinda think he likes me too.
I gathered the courage to go back to his room to ask for his email address, and he was more than glad to do so. He's still in house and will check out tomoro, what should i do or say to him before he leaves to let him know (in a not so overbearing or unprofessional way)that i like him and to make an impression on him, he's the kind of man I would marry. (plz don't misunderstand me, am not a desperate girl and i've never done or experienced such a thing in my 2 year carreer. Only serious answers pliz.

I have tried portable media device, has no disable, delete or whatever. Under my computer in control panel there is no option for disabling or deleting Write Protection. I've tried all of the suggestions under the above 4 answers of "how to remove write protection on my flash drive. My flash drive (s) are not faulty. Can someone please help? Thanks

I've been dating my girlfriend for about 6 months I already a couple gifts picked out.

I think I've gotten it narrowed down to earrings but I don't know what would be appropiate at this stage. Garnet is her birthstone, that might be my safest bet but not original enough because I think she has enough garnet jewerly. Her favorite color is green but I don't know if she likes emeralds that might be to risky. Diamonds might be to much and I only want to spend around 200 which would be about 1/8thct? Pearls, are those for old ladies? We are in our early 20's. Platinum.. too bland? Do people inscribe earrings?

Sorry if this has been posted up already, I am asking more specific questions then I saw in the other posts.
