This question has to do with the division of mineral rights (royalties) from producing oil and gas wells.

Two individuals each owned a 1/40th interest in the mineral rights of several oil and gas wells. Both were receiving their 1/40th interest as income while they were living.

When these two people passed away, they both willed their 1/40 interest to three children. Each child was to received 1/3rd of the interest income of both of the previous owners.

My question: How much interest do these three people now own in the oil and gas wells?

Please express the answer as a fraction as a decimal number.

Thank you.

this girl came over this weekend to my bf place with a coupla our friends. at first she seemed cool, then she started dancing and taking off her clothes and making out with 3 different guys, literally start at one end and end up at the other, and then all at the same time. she was poppin her jaw and talking about how it "makes it better" if you know what i mean. then she started talking about oh this aint nothing, thats how i used to get by and eat. she was a prostitute. she is 17 years old. i told everyone i didnt like her cuz i dont like ppl i cant respect and i cant respect someone who doesnt respect themselves. and the whole time too she looked at my bf and told him he was sexy and asked to join into us when we were kissing in the bedroom, she just walked right in. i got a serious attitude with her about that sh*t but i wasnt trying to get krunk. i didnt want to start nothing if it didnt have to be. i think shes a trashy whore, but all the guys liked her, they were getting laid.

Has anyone ever noticed that they use the same actors in the Law & Order franchise? For instance, in a L&O episode Judd Hirsch was the lawyer, then in Criminal Intent, he was the boss of the bad guy. I watch all three series, and often notice the same people.

Anyone have another example?

You see, hundreds of years ago people did not believe that the dinosaurs once roamed this very earth. When scientists found evidence of thier existence, that is when the trend caught on of dinosaurs once existing.

So my question is:

Do you believe that aliens exist, even though we have not found any proof (yet)?

The news came out today that Rumsfeld was about to advise Bush that strategies in Iraq needed some drastic changes, but for some strange reason resigned the day after mid-term elections.

Very odd...

Why?

A little girl asked her mum, "Mum, may I take the dog for a walk around
the block?
Mum replies, "No because she is in heat."
What's that mean?" asked the child.
Go ask your father. I think he's in the garage."
The little girl goes to the garage and says, "Dad, may I take
Belle for a walk around the block?
I asked Mum, but she said the dog was in heat and to come to you."
Dad said, "Bring Belle over here." He took a rag, soaked it with
petrol and scrubbed the dog's backside with it and said,
"I've heard that's supposed to work. Okay, you can go now, but
keep Belle on the leash and only go one time around the block."

The little girl left, and returned a few minutes later with no dog
on the leash.

Surprised, Dad asked, "Where's Belle?"
The little girl said, "She ran out of petrol about halfway down
the block, so another dog is pushing her home.
