Hi all
I'm fitting a new bathroom, and am replacing all the plumbing from the point of entry to the bathroom to sink, bath and toilet (one floor flat).

I read somewhere that it's now part of building regs that I have to install an isolation valve on every separate unit? ie one on every supply pipe.

Is that true, or can i just fit one isolation valve on each of the feed pipes coming into the bathroom?

What happens if I don't comply with this building regs rule ie. dont fit the extra isolation valves?


At the moment, there are no isolation valves on any of the units in the bathroom

I've been through many more downs than ups in life. I've felt humiliated so many times, felt stupid. I've tried to pick up the pieces several times, stand up after every fall. But I keep on stumbling down. I don't trust myself to be open anymore and be true to my feelings, 'coz no one seems to appreciate that. I do my best to be nice yet also no one seems to appreciate that. Do you go through this? What do you do to make yourself feel better, make you trust yourself again?

Anything with really good animation-like GITS or FFAC or good martial arts movies because some of them are hit or miss.

Just want to watch more-but its always difficult to know whats out there because it kinda feels like an underground market!

I am 5ft8 and I weigh 155lbs. I used to weigh 185 before I found out that I have Thyroid disease. Now that my thyroid is under control I now have energy and I have been working out hard everyday and have lost 30 lbs so far. I am now doing advanced Taebo everyday and I love it. I want to lose about 20-25 more lbs. But does anyone think I'm fat now?

I had to take aspirin with codeine for a torn muscle in my back and was only taking one pill before bed to help me sleep pain free. I am now constipated and can only poop a little bit at a time. Yesterday my fiance noticed I was cranky and I felt bloated. I should probably be drinking more water but is there anything else I should do? Or just wait it out.. it's been about 4 or 5 days since I've gone normally. Eek! :)

I saw AE's Intervention last night. It is a documentary program that follows people who have alcohol/drug use problems. The story was about a woman who had a very serious problem with drinking. At 2 points during the show the woman was given a ride by the documentary producers because they did not want her to drive. I believe that to shoot a true documentary one should not interfer in the result, because then you become a participant, and the show is not longer a documentary. For instance if you saw that movie, The March of the Penguins, even though many penguins died from starvation, attacks and the elements, the producers did not interfer and let nature take its course. I understand that in Intervention we are talking about humans, but should a person shooting a documentary become involved in it to that level. This is just something I've been thinking about.
