Coming from a Mom; don't let on, please. It would break their hearts. You may not get them, if a snafu happens, or if it was sent as a cover for what you were getting, so you "accidentally" found it.....sometimes Moms and Dads are mischievous. Plus, perhaps you don't know what the presents LOOK like, or whatever. You will still look, act, and be surprised when you open them! As with any gift, you will be gracious, smile, laugh, think how YOU would want them to act as they open your gifts, even if they knew what you were getting them. Using your best manners counts, especially with parents, as it reflects upon how they raised you, and especially because they love you with a fierce love you will never understand until you a parent yourself. Be as kind as you would to your own children, if you can imagine. Don't ruin their happiness, or you will regret it forever. My mom opened one of her mother's presents to her, she didn't like it, had to act surprised,, and felt awful. She regretted it for 40 years. Be of good cheer. They love you, but, God loved you first, and created you to be kind. Good luck, and Merry, merry Christmas! :)

I have always had a remarkable knack for knowing what is wrapped or what has been purchased for me at Christmas Time. My suggestion is to keep it to yourself so as not to ruin it for the people buying you presents. I think the greatest part of buying gifts is feeling that you have surprised the other person. So my suggestion. Zip your lip and look surprised. '-)

I don't see what the big deal is?
They messed it up... it's not your fault!

I don't think you have to act surprised just say
"thanks, I like it, even though I knew what it was going to be"
joke about it,
so next time they'll know to be more careful...
