I love the "Left Behind" series. It's by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins. It's fiction, but it's based on Tim LaHaye's lifetime study of the book of revelation. There are 11 books and they cover the time from the rapture of the church, through the tribulation period, up until the coming of Christ to set up the millenium. Of course, the people are ficticious, but it is based on the word of God, and is a story of how it could take place and the order of things to come during the 7 years of tribulation. There are so many good christian authors. Both of these authors also have other books out.

Visit a local christian bookstore on one line.
Books about Martin Luther, Corrie Tem Boon, Charles Finney, D.L. Moody, John Wesley, The Father of Modern Missions - William Carey, Tynedale, Wycliff....there is a huge series of these type of books.
Modren: Billy Graharm, Jim Elliot, Nate Saint, Don Richardson. There are lots of great material out there. :-)
These are a few of the people that I enjoyed learning about.

Max Lucado, and Chonda Peirce are good, Beth Moore is another one. Chonda's books are funnier than most, I like her a lot.
