The news came out today that Rumsfeld was about to advise Bush that strategies in Iraq needed some drastic changes, but for some strange reason resigned the day after mid-term elections.

Very odd...

Why?

He didn't resign, he was fired. And if he was going to advise Bush that some drastic changes neede to be made, he was only stating the obvious and maybe trying to save his job. Bush had decided the Rumsfeld had to go some weeks before. Current "strategies " are a total failed police.

Bush already had that talk with him way before he resigned and was surprised that Rumsfeld decided to resign when he did. So whats your point? Rumsfeld got out before the demo's tried to oust him. He's gone now, no longer in, so maybe we can move on. You should be trying to dig up dirt on the new guy!

Man...it's all about the politics. And this memo may have been one of dozens. Putting too much meaning into this one scrap of paper could make one look brilliant, or foolish. Without seeing the accompanying paperwork that went with it and making any hard comment would really be nothing more than speculation. Of course, I have an inherent mistrust of our government no matter who sits in the Oval Office.

Rumplesfeld can say anything he wants now that he has been kicked out of office. None of those involved with this administration deserve to be listened to by the people of America.

I read that on saturday. Its a play because bush wants to be free of blame, so he blames everyone else.
