"Can" they? Yeah but they would take devastating losses and hundreds of millions would die.
Both countries are nuclear-armed, and each can completely cripple the other (if a nuclear war broke out, Pakistan could nuke India's technology centers like Bangalore, and India could attack cities along the border like Lahore). India is bigger, but Pakistan has a defense treaty with China.

no friend even with intervention from across the world India can not invade Pakistan because winning Pakistan in today's scenario is not a child's play .To invade it we too have to suffer a lot which we are not going to do

Pakistan suceeded over years with its diplomacy by joining hands one side with US and other wide with China, making India defensive. The week government at Delhi can not dare to do so. Its vote bank politics also coming on the way.

well its not a yes or no answer, i think they should nuke the other one, i cant stand these countries that have so many similarities hateing eachother, sometimes i think people need hate in their lives for some reason, i just cant understand it
