12/01/06 "AP" -- -- -A record 7 million people — or one in every 32 American adults — were behind bars, on probation or on parole by the end of last year, according to the Justice Department.

Of those, 2.2 million were in prison or jail, an increase of 2.7 percent over the previous year, according to a report released Wednesday.

More than 4.1 million people were on probation and 784,208 were on parole at the end of 2005. Prison releases are increasing, but admissions are increasing more

I asked a question about this yesterday and I realize that I wasnt being really clear on what I wanted. I was looking for someone who knew how to make a heart with the keys on their keyboard. The firts day of my last period was Nov. 1st and I take Jasmin pills, but I forgot to refill my pills until it was too late so I had to wait until my next period to start taking the pill again. Well between the times of Nov. 10th and 13th I had unprotected sex a couple of times and I looked on the internet at a ovulation calender and I was apparently ovulating during that time. Well I went to the doctor 2 weeks before my usual period adn she said that if I do not get my period in two weeks to take a pregnancy test, ok so my period was expected on Thursday(Nov. 30) (never late) but I took a pregnancy test on Monday (Nov. 27) and it came back negative, so I decided to wait until my period. I did not start on Thursday or Friday so I bought a pregnancy test. I took the test this morning (Saturday) as soon as I woke up and I got another negative. I wonder is my period late because I missed my pills or could I be pregnant. Please help...Thank you!!!

I had 3 test say positive, went to the doctor and got my vitamins... My husband and I are excited. I am really early like 2-3 weeks. My question is "Is it normal to not see the baby yet this early"? I mean the doc said he couldn't see anything. They had already informed me that my test was a faint positive and that they may not detect it. Just worried as this is my first child. Also the doc said he can't promise that I won't micarry or have tubal pregnancy, that if I have cramps or bleeding to come in asap.. My other question is "Do they tell that to everyone? I have another ultra sound Monday, they think I am real early and they should be able to tell me a due date.. Thanks.. just concerned!
