After being widowed in my early forties I am happy now with my partner of 11 years but my daughter cannot forget her father and thinks I should be on my own. I thought the problem was over until we visited 3 weeks ago and have seen for myself she is worse than ever. Her husband who I have always liked is just as bad. what has happened I don't know. I love my daughter very much but I am not going to let her spoil my happiness. After returning home after our visit my partner and I have been upset. I have e-mailed her but still no answer. We live 9000 miles away so it is not easy. Any advice anybody?

I've going through a really rough time dealing with my next-door neighbor at the moment. I don't worry about myself but, rather about my parents. You see, we as a family have dealt with horrible neighbors in the past, the most recent one left several years ago after banging on the adjoining house walls for over 2 years (I live in a terrace house), apart from a million other nasty things. My parents didn't dare to take any action until one day, this illegal-dealing neighbour threatened to beat my father up. Finally, my parents reported the incidents to the police only to find out that the police can't do anything except chat with the neighbors since its considered a "domestic dispute between neighbors" aka nothing serious (yeah, right!!!).

Anyways, now my other next-door neighbor is doing the same thing: knocking on walls and running the car accelerator just as my mom has dried out the clothes in the garden. If the law enforcement won't help my family out, what hope is there for us?

Feel free to persuade me and make me understand but in a NICE POLITE RESPECTFUL MANNER!

Ok why is it that if you purposely hurt a cop whther kill him, or run him off the road or injure him you go away for a LONG time

BUT why is it that parents who abuse their children(babies especially) very negligence to them, hang around child molestors, drink heavily perform sexual acts in front of the, do drugs...they get nothing and their kids don't get taken away?

I know a personl that did this. I just don't understand why she can't get any jailtime how she treats kids but oh no if you touch a law enforcement you're going to hell.

Can you explain that to me?

In Philly they got these stupid pink EAGLES jerseys ( They Can Only be Green, Black, or White). But any way, do they have pink jerseys for other teams as well? Cause if so someone has to do some thing about thess horrable goings-on. Team Jerseys have to be the team colors, hence the name TEAM JERSEYS.

It's new I've had it for about 8 months.

The problem is well you know how when you put it a disc it says something like what action do you want to take or when you plug in your digital camera or memory card a screen comes up and asks if you want to download to a folder or whatever. anyways well last week i put in my memory card and nothing happened. then i put in a dvd to watch and it didn't start up it started to read the disc and stopped.

So my question is.

Is my computer broken or did that action get turned off or what? Help!
I do have warranty so should I just take it back to best buy and have them check it out or is it something I can fix?

help please!!!!
