Day light Saving time is observe in many states of United states.Advancing the clock by one hour from April to October is the general practise. In UK it is known as the summer time.

It is putting light in a box or container that it cannot get out of and then putting a lid on it and putting it in a safe place to use when the there is not so much light later or when you really need some.

Acutally it is the act of manipulating your clocks so you are up more when the sun is out and use less engergy to light your homes at night because of the change in your clocks.
