have a good friend who i have known for almost my whole life. when i was 12 he gave me my first kiss. since then we have just been great friends but have always loved each other, but maintained our obligations to our religion.

about a month or two ago he approached me with the idea of getting married. he didnt propose... he just asked me if how i felt about this idea. i told him i definitely wasnt opposed but since i am only 18 and he is only 20 we should think about it a little bit more first.

two weeks from that i found out he slept with a someone on one of his business trips. he recently smoked weed. and also, he says that he has come close to having sexual relations with another man.

he claims that he was in a state of depression (both of his parents passed away recently) and that is the only reason these things happened. he is very sorry and wants to make a life together and do right by me.

does anyone think there is anything left to salvage here?

If Italians..?

If Italians really can play football, then why dont they show us by winning any Champions League Trophy or atleast the UEFA cup, why dont they prove that they dont match fix and win their own dirty leagues..

What's the opposite of SAVED ?

Saved is a word ending an action.
like after a car accident, somebody get saved......
In Christianity , they claim that they are saved !!!
so all the people who don't accept Jesus as son of God are<..?...>
can this be possible even if they didn't die yet?
how about if he is saved and commit suicide then he is <...?...>

so saved is a term used for the day of judgement the last day not our days.

In Islam nobody claim that he is saved , and nobody can say that you are not.

About my parents... they need help and I feel helpless.?

My dad who I am so proud of is a recovering alcoholic. He almost died 1yr ago. Since then--sober. Hes very unhealthy. He has Hepetitis B--makes his body weaker every day. He has had both hips replaced & a TERRIBLE back. Hes n pain 24/7. He cant work b/c of his disability, He just lies on the couch 24/7 & watches TV. My mom is a mentally depressed woman who is not happy w/ life. She has been put through hell & back with my dad. She has no family they all abandoned her. And has had depression symptoms b/c of that. They live in a small trailer & have nothing 2 look forward to. Has any1 been in my situation? I just want to hear how other ppl handled it. I love my family but it breaks my heart to see them like that. I feel helpless and so sorry for them.

I have a 8 yr old brother who lives there w/ them. I feel like our parents are affecting him mentally. And he may steer into trouble. So I will be taking him in to live w/ me when I graduate college in about 3 yrs.

Do they need schooling in order to preach the bible, bible colledge, or what does the bible say aobut it?

I heard that we are not suposed to put someone in the front or a church who does not know or has no doctrine, but what does the bible say about that? is there a verse that tells us the preacher is suposed to have some tipe of school or knowledge? I would like to have scriptures that show me that going to school for ministry is the best way to go. Thank you
