Washing Towels and jeans together isn't the problem.
It is drying them, it will take several cycles, and if you pay with coins that gets pricey.
It is better to line dry jeans (use the shower bar or back of a chair if you have no lawn or good weather).
The jeans will last longer. My 1 fashion weakness are jeans. I buy one designer pair a month (typically).
Changing the lint filter helps with drying too.
Also for towels, if you can, run the spin cycle twice and you may save 30 drying minutes and several $ a month.

Both are cotton so they can be washed together. Both can be washed in hot water as well. Just the first 2 or 3 washings should be done separately to avoid bleeding. Best tip..When washing jeans or towels, washing half loads is quicker than full loads due to extensive drying times for large loads. Also, when separating clothes for washing, consider consistent drying times for items to be washed together. A heavy sweater and polyester shirt both get cold water but the light shirt will be dry long before the heavy shirt.

Make sure you're not washing white towels with black jeans. Well the washing won't be the problem the drying and lint will be. :)
I wash them together all the time and never have a prob. Even with drying no probs they still dry about the same.

Oh sure I washed the two my boys clothing mutually. Bc one is two one million/2 and the different is rather much one million 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous. so which you would be able to tell which belong to who. I used to stay in residence that did not have washer/dryer. So I positioned all coloreds, whites,my husband's artwork clothing, and towels in those lots. I did my husbands artwork clothing separate bc he gets rather grimy.
