Suicide is a sin, Being saved is being saved from the sin of the world.
If you are not saved you are damned to eternity in hell when you die. It is never too late to be saved, just ask God, he gives salvation out for free. It's already been paid for by the death of Jesus on the cross. walk into any church in any town and they will help you understand this. Or look up my church www.mpbc.org.au Good luck friend

The opposite of "saved" to a Christian is condemned, or damned, that is to say, a person who has not accepted Jesus Christ as savior and will be spending an eternity in hell.
When a person gets saved, they are "born again," so hence, yes we can get saved because we were DEAD in old life, and now we are alive.
It is not I who live but Christ who lives in me, book of Galnts.
The idea of suicide being the "unforgivable sin" is nothing but Catholic hoo-ha nonsense and has NO basis in the Bible. If a person is saved and they commit suicide they go to heaven.

Saved just means that you believe that Jesus died and rose on the third day...
Don't believe, then you don't make it to the pearly gates... you get to tour hades...
If you commit suicide, then you can't ask for forgiveness... I have heard both you don't go to heaven, or what if you had mental issues??? Do you go??? This is a hard one for me since I know of three people that have commitment suicide.
Saved is in the last days of Judgment...
Last, it is the person's own relationship... just worry about yourself and judge not other people.
Good Night.

Um, lost, yes, I do believe that is it, not sure though. I agree, I don't believe anyone is saved because really we are all lost, we are walking in darkness only dreaming of the light but we have not seen it. I don't believe that we will ever truly understand the peace and truth of God until we meet them, all we can do now is guess.

The opposite of saved is lost -- now and then.
The opposite of lost is found.
Men do not seek God but rather are found of God.
Hence the term lost. It is really quite simple. ---
If you haven't been found you are lost!
Once God has found you, you are saved.
The above holds true for all religions.

"Condemned" (to everlasting perdition) is the opposite of the concept of "saved" (unto eternal life) in Christian theology
