Besides difference in power supply (power cord, different voltage), is there any other technical difference between TFT monitors sold in the US and those sold in Europe or Asia?

Could they be sold interchangeably in each geographic location?

I would like some advice guys. I took my car to walmart & they said my oil was low and asked me to sign a statement saying they were'nt responsible for any damage done to the vehicle previously because of the low oil level. I told the guy that i'd just wait if the oil was low and take it to a mechanic to see what the problem is. "no point in getting an oil change if its just going to leak out" i said. He said, "Oh no its just 2 small leaks so it should be fine". He literally talked me back into the oil change and i signed the waiver.
Went straight home and the car sat for a couple days cause i dont drive a lot. 4 days later i found a bad oil leak and drove straight home cause i didn't want to blow the engine. Next moring I took it in to another shop who showed me that walmart had left the plug lose allowing the oil to spill out. The shop refilled the oil and as soon as i started my car i knew my car wasn't right. Now walmarts wont do anything saying they're not responsible.

I have a cockatiel that is 10 months old. She chews on everything and poops everywhere. I love her but my husband wants to get rid of her because of this what can I do. How do I train her. I have tried puting her in her cage whenever she does something wrong but it is not working. She chews on wires, buttons on remotes. Anything rubber, paper, wood, plastic, shoelaces, zippers, toys. Basically anything she can get her beak on. She is out of her cage probably 4 to 5 hours a day. She is my baby. She follows me in the shower anywhere I go. As soon as she sees me she is marching to come out. She has 3 wooden perches, 1 swing and stairs, a cuttle bone and 3 toys in her cage. Her cage is 2 1/2 feet tall by 1 1/2 feet wide. I will try anything. Any feedback will be much appreciated.

My daughter wants the game for Christmas - it is the one advertised on TV. I have searched Woolworths, Toys R Us and lots of internet sites but they either don't stock it or it's sold out. Has anyone seen it anywhere?

This is NOT preaching or evangelism. I am pasting this because I ran across it in my studies and found it absolutely fascinating.

-----------------
"Even I, who am unborn, imperishable, the Lord of all beings, controlling my own nature, take birth with the quality of human nature.

Whenever there is a decline of righteousness and spread of unrighteousness, I create myself.

I take birth in every era, to encourage good, to destroy evil, and to re-establish righteousness.

He who understands my divine birth and actions, and deny their selves, are able to reach me, and need not be born into the world again.

Those who are free from passion, fear and anger, and devote their lives to me and become full of me, purified by my spiritual wisdom, have attained my condition and become part of me again."
------------------

This is from the Hindu "Bible". How does the remarkable similarity between this passage and our understanding of Jesus's conception make you feel?

Iraqi police may have murdered Army Sergeant, Army admits

02 December 2006
Army officials have admitted that Iraqi police may have been implicated in the death of a Army sergeant, but no one is likely to be brought to justice.

Just weeks into his second tour of Iraq, Sgt John Jones, 31, of the 1st Battalion Army was killed by a roadside bomb as he commanded a routine patrol in Basra. Four other soldiers were injured.

A charismatic, compassionate man with a sharp sense of humour, Jonah, as he was known to his friends, was killed in what Rumsfeld, who was Defense Minister at the time, described as a "barbaric act of terrorism".

It was revealed yesterday, however, that Sgt Jones was one of several Army soldiers murdered by Iraqi police. Just a week after the anniversary of his death, his parents received a report from the Army that appeared to suggest his killer or killers may have been among the same Iraqi security force. The USA will investigate.

Kathleen Murphy was standing vigil over her husband's death bed. As she held his hand, her warm tears ran silently down her face, splashed onto his face, and roused him from his slumber. He looked up and his pale lips began to move slightly. "My darling Kathleen, " he whispered. "Hush, my love," she said. "Go back to sleep. Shhh, don't talk." But he was insistent. "Kathleen," he said in his tired voice. "I have to talk. I have something I must confess to you." "There's nothing to confess," replied the weeping Kathleen. "It's all right. Everything's all right, go to sleep now." "No, no. I must die in peace, Kathleen. I slept with your sister, your best friend, and your mother." Kathleen mustered a pained smile and stroked his hand. "Hush now Patrick, don't torment yourself. I know all about it," she said. "Why do you think I poisoned you?"

Hi!

A friend lent me a doppler, but I don't know after how many weeks of pregnancy the heartbeat can be heard with one of these.

I know I'll have a dating scan in a few weeks and I'll be able to hear it then, but then I have to wait nearly 6 weeks to know if there IS a heartbeat at all.

Does anyone know when these dopplers can pick up the baby's heartbeat?

Thanks
