I heard that we are not suposed to put someone in the front or a church who does not know or has no doctrine, but what does the bible say about that? is there a verse that tells us the preacher is suposed to have some tipe of school or knowledge? I would like to have scriptures that show me that going to school for ministry is the best way to go. Thank you

Life is our school. How do you become all things to all people if you have never expereinced anything? 1 John 2: 27 (27) "But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him." When people truly understand the Spirit and the function of it because of what happend for us by the reconcilation that Jesus Christ gave to us at the cross, then major change would be happening. And if people are being taught the same things over and over in the schooling prereqresits toward the bible school language in the physical and not understanding it on a spiritual level then you get what equals our world today.

Qualifications for church officers are found in 1 Timothy 3: 1- 13 and Titus1: 5 – 9. Except for the requirement that elder-overseers-pastors be able to teach, the qualifications for elder-overseers and deacons are basically the same with a decided emphasis on moral uprightness and spiritual maturity. We might divide the various qualifications for church offices under several general headings:

(1) Good Reputation: Blameless (not sinless - that's impossible); A good testimony among outsiders; Of good behavior; reverent.

(2) Temperate: Self- controlled; Sober-minded; Not addicted to sunstances; Not quarellsome, Not self-willed; Not quick-tempered.

(3) Godly Values: Godly; loving that which is good; Not coveteous or greedy for money; Just

(4) Loving: Hospitable; gentle

(5) Healthy home-life: A ONE woman man or ONE man woman (faithful to his/her partner); manages his/her home well.

(6) Mature Faith: Not a novice ( newly baptised person or new convert); Tested (He must show by his faithfulness that he is qualified for official service); Holding fast the faithful Word. The candidate not only possesses sound doctrine, he is true to it (i.e., he is no hypocrite).

(7) ABLE TO TEACH: This is the qualification that interests you. The ability to teach is a requirement only for those aspiring to be elders-overseers-pastors (those whose office requires them to teach or preach). This qualification implies that the elder-overseer-pastor have a superior grasp of the Scriptures and the ability to set forth its truths clearly and effectively. Such a qualification can only be reached and enriched through diligent life-time study of the Word and a natural passion for truth and the willingness to “dig it up.”

Anyone can preach the Bible that has read it. No need for a 4 year degree or a phd in religion or any other kind of certificate. All these college professors are just another educated guess, and another man's opinion and they get all their information to teach out of books. If you can read books you can educate yourself. God can teach you his word from the Bible without the help of anyone.
