I used to live on a farm and we had several outdoor cats. There was one large tomcat who would regularly mount and hump other boy cats. Can't cats smell the difference between boys and girls? The boy cats often didn't fight back and just laid there. What's the deal with that?

Me and my sister do get along. I am the most honest sbiling to her, and I have her back but if she is wrong I will tell hershe is. She is always there when I need help, but she always want to make me look bad toward my parents and siblings. I will be the first person she disregard in the family, but I will never do that to her. She claims I do not give her respect, but I think maybe my honesty is misunderstood by her. I sick of tired of being treated this way. What should I do? Should I stop being honest to her? I confronted her about this issue and she will not change. Maybe my honesty is looked as being rude. How can I avoid this conflict?

I didn't want to post anything because there was a question asking "Orgasms...love them or hate them?" and everyone yelled at the person for being so stupid; they said that everyone loved them. Well not me. I just don't like the feeling. Whenever I get close to an orgasm, I mean right THERE, I just stop. I don't like it. Since I am "supposed" to love them, why is it that I just can't go through with it?

In the Latter Day Saint's religion, they believe that a celestial marriage is for eternity.

How do you explain Jesus saying in Matthew 22:22-33 that marriage is not in heaven? See Matthew 22:30: 30For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

How is it then, that marriage can be for eternity if Jesus himself said this cannot happen.

Did ancient Egyptians worship their kings?

Dear all,
I want a historical answer supported with strong references.
(Note: religion books are not references)

I am asking about (Ptah, Re, Osiris.. ect), were they kings?
Or maybe kings were considered priests for the gods.?

Thanks.

I can't understand why i'm feeling so depressed lately.5 weeks ago, everything was flowing smoothly, ans then my grandfather passed away.I wasn't so much sad,as i was overwhelmed at that time, and have gotten over it,but it seems that lately i've just had a pattern of overanxious negative thinking(about other things) no matter what i do,or what activity i engage in.I'm almost having to become an insomniac and tire myself out to the point where i'm too tired to think.Could i just be going through some up's and down's right now?Are these normal patterns to be going through?I don't understan how i could be feeling so perfect a month ago,and so lousy lately.Almost like a 360 degree turn.It seemed that that event along with other things threw my thinking off kilter completely.

I am a current sophomore, 19, at a University here in California. I absolutely adore my math professor, 31. He is funny, knowledgeable, and friendly. I periodically attend his office hours and chat with him. He and I have become quite friendly with one another, often emailing each other asking how our weekends have been, sharing a funny video, etc. Although the emails are usually initiated by me, he seems to enjoy getting them. Is it against any policy to date your professor? The class is almost over, and I do not plan on taking anymore classes taught by this professor. I am also wondering how to express my feelings for him. I know he feels an attraction towards me. I do not know what to do... Also
He is not married. I know that for a fact. And he is currently single. I know he is at a different stage in his life right now, but I'm willing to get to know him better, and become friends with him in the least. He does not talk to any other student that I am aware of...

I have this Harmony acoustic steel string guitar that I just learned to play on. I just figured out recently that the action is waaay too high. At the 12th fret 6 string the string base is like 2cm off the fretboard. I learned on this thing and boy did I get callouses. So anyway, now I play my mom's old nylon guitar which is like butter... but I still want a steel string to play. Should I bother getting the neck reset or just buy a new one? And if so, can I have some recommondations on affordable good quality steel strings?

pounding. I do listen to a little rap and a variety of other music also. But I don't care about having speakers that everyone outside my car can hear. I just love the feel of the pounding bass in the car. Also, what set up would you recommend. Free air, sealed, ported, isobaric, band pass, aperiodic? Thanks for your help

Alright, long story short: I am 14 and on an all girls' U19 hockey district bound team. (I'm the baby and the main goalie) It's awesome and I love all the girls on the team. Sad thing is, we can't score goals. (FYI: I'm the goalie) We have only had two practiced all season (we live all over the South, and can never get ice time) And on top of that, there is some much inter-fight between the girls that, on the ice most of the time we don't even look like a team. Okay, I have a bunch of questions:

How can we become more of a team?
How can we score?
How can I make this less stressful for me? (going and losing by a shut-out is not very fun)

I am sure in the morning I will have a bunch more questions, so keep on a look out for those. Thanks!!!

I'm currenlty taking classes in the nursing program. I'm in a program because my relatives keep pushing me (mostly to earn more money and be successful). My relatives keep telling me that I can be a nurse and still young enough to pursue what I like. Being a nurse is hard. I feel like I could not be a nurse because there are a lot of hassles (e.g. lawsuits, liabilities, etc.). I'm caring and compassionate, but there's always a fine line how long I can be caring and compassionate. I took this career personality tests and the results said that I'm mostly artistic. The thing that I'm worrying about is should or should not follow what I like/interested with. I presume that most people are artistic; they take this same path, some fails, some succeeds. My problem is what career I should take that relates to what I love, but still not be in a gamble situation to fail?
I'm just stating this to know if there are people that feel confuse or worried like me.

Has anyone tried the personal readings and maybe even purchase so-called mystical amulets or insightful readings from these two astrologers. Please share if there are changes happen or good fortune did really occur, or maybe readings were really matched to real situations...

Thanks in advance guys

I am currently in my 3rd semester of college, maintaining a 3.4 GPA while taking a full class load. I am also working full time. I also have 2 kids, ages 6 and 8. I have primary custody 70/30 and it all seems to be going alright, but everyone keeps telling me I need to lay off school and go part time. Problem is, I would like to graduate before my kids are teenagers. My degree will allow me to finally get a job that will allow me some financial freedom so that I don't have to struggle so hard to stay afloat right now. I am not on welfare. I do get child support. My kids are very happy. I am stressed out, but would be more so if I weren't doing anything to get myself out of my current status (Low skill, low paying job, tiny apartment, stuck). It took me 10 years to finally get here because my ex wouldn't let me go to college, so why would anyone think that I need to stop now? Am I insane? I am happy for myself, what is wrong with going back to school?

I just can't get in to it anymore. I don't have the money plus I have three cats who would have the decorations torn down in no time. Don't get me wrong, in my heart I know the true meaning of Christmas but can't deal with the commercialization of the holiday. I get the bah humbugs and can't wait til it's over. If I had kids it would probably be different. My husband and I have so many bills that I would feel guilty spending our hard earned money on gifts when we have all these other expenses to take care of. I send cards out for my husband's sake but I don't even really enjoy doing that. I never go to company Christmas parties and I stay away from the malls from the day after Thanksgiving until a few days after New Years. I hate the crowds and the cards I send are made on my computer. I mean, we have a family dinner (me, my husband, mom, sister and her kids) but that's it. We spend that time together which is a good thing but like I said, no gifts for anyone and no decorating.
