We were getting to know each other. We had been talking for about 4 months, when out of the blue, I told him I was getting married. He did not seem to be shocked. We remained friends. Later on, he made a feeble attempt to express his surprise at my announcement, but just would not allow himself to open up. I tried to explain that the marriage was one of convenience: the man I married still had a girlfriend and I knew it, but we got married to help our son. In the end, the marriage accomplished what we set out to do, which was to save our son. When we went our separate ways, which was about six months later, I let the other guy know, but he had moved on, which I completely understood; however, when we go out we have a good time and he treats me well, but I want more than friendship. Sometimes I think he does too, especially when he kisses me after our dates and calls me. Is he just being nice to spare my feelings?

This problem started last wednesday and does not happen every time I roll out. I think the problem may be the fuel filter or that I got some bad gas because most times it runs fine. Any suggestions??

I have a message board forum that has been running for over a year now, made up of friends and friends of friends. It's just a friendship/chat/social thing, and occasionally we meet up.

However, in order to stop it from becoming stale, I'd like to try to encourage new people to join, but I'm not sure how to go about this without spending loads of money (that I don't have!), or without attracting people under about 25, who wouldn't really fit in with the discussions.

Can anyone help?

i start filling my cup holders then when those get full throw my cigs on the passenger side floor. i rarely empty my ashtray. when i do i just empty it onto the floor. i try not 2 throw cigs out the window but sometimes i just do. i drive with all windows shut most of time so throwing out window is not ez option. what do you do when your ash tray is full?

We see many races about us today, proving that IF the world started with one man and one woman, they have evolved into many different races.

I thought i met the most wonderful guy of my dreams, but the other nite he couldn't put a condom b/c he was too soft, then when he actually did, we couldn't perform intercourse b/c he became soft again. Does anyone remember the episode where Elaine's neighbor stops saying Hi to her?
What do you do in that case? For example, my daughters started a new school, which they like very much by the way, but one thing I noticed is the mothers of the students have nothing better to do than to stand around in the schoolyard gossiping, sometimes for the whole morning. They'll even stand in the rain in one cluster talking!
Anyway, I had several conversations individually with a couple of them, while they were separated from their 'pack' and thought I was comfortable getting to know them individually. Well, the next day I will go to drop my kids off and they will ALL ignore me! It's almost like nobody wants to admit that they have spoken to the 'new mother'. It is really hurtful. It is absolutely unbelievable and something out of high school, for pete's sakes. I am also divorced, whereas none of those other mothers are... yet anyway.
What does one do in this situation?Any similar experience?

My understanding, after meeting with the Assistant Director at the UIC School of Pharmacy, is that receiving a Bachelor of Science is not a must. I was told that usually when someone is not accepted they will then get their Bachelor of Science to better help them for the next time around. I am very nervous that I will be one stuck in this situation, especially considering the UIC’s acceptance rate is about 12%. I still have a ways to go in my pre-pharmacy curriculum, but I like to get all of my worrying out of the way.

So, here’s my question. In the case that someone never gets accepted, what sorts of careers and pay can someone expect that has a Bachelor of Science? More opportunities in bio or chem? How common is it for someone to never get accepted? I await any information that you think would be helpful.
