Roll your hair up like as if you were making a bun, don't roll it as tight as you normally would. You need your hair to be able to give a little. Make the bun and hold on to it with your left hand (right if you're left-handed) and slide the chopstick half-way underneath the bun. You will need to poke the chopstick through the middle of the bun. Pull the chopstick forward a little and tip the chopstick up in the air and the point of the chopstick is touching your scalp. Bend the chopstick forward and at the same time slide the chopstick underneath the whole bun. As far as the second chopstick, you can just stick that in for decoration. I personally just slide it underneath the bun when I'm done. I hope these directions aren't too confusing. :)

Twist you hair into a bun or french twist, then poke the chopsticks through the thickest parts (with the most hair). If you have to use some carefully placed bobby pins until you get the hang of it, do. Practice makes perfect.

Here is a site that shows images of variations of hairdos with chopsticks...

You create a bun first. The "chopsticks" alone will not hold the hair. Just checking we were that far.
