I cant find bitter i can only find orange marmalade is there a big differerence?

it is for the glaze thats going to go on the turkey. I have found sweetened orange marmalade and plain orange marmalade at the store.

Are you using it for a glaze? I always just go ahead and use the regular orange marmalade. I can't tell any difference. Hope this helps. You can add a little zest from a lemon if you need to. Just grate some of the lemon peel off a single lemon with a grater; being careful not to use too much.

Yes, but you can use regular orange marmalade. In England they make the bitter stuff - it is very good and not so sweet you might add a little grated lemon rind to give it the bitter edge.

Yes, there is a big difference. The bitter marmalade is not sweet at all. Sometimes it is called Scottish or English marmalade.

The original fruit used was Quince and Marmelo is the root of the Portuguese word Marmelada. In the 17th century citrus fruit became widely available in England and the word was Anglicised to Marmalade. It is made from any citrus fruit but Seville Oranges are the most common one used.

try it and see if ti works out if not go to a bio store and ask them for bitter orange marmalade just rember that there is no preseritives it it so use it soon....
