Theres a girl at work who is hilarious honestly, she has ginger frizzy hair, shes rather humongous, massive in fact and she has a slight speech impediment. We just crack up every break time when she waddles in to the staff room, I dropped my *** into my coffee the other day coz i was laughing so hard. Thing is, she says shes leaving coz shes sick of our constant jibes, she knows we all hate working there and she knows that she is the only thing that brightens our otherwise dreary days, how can she be so selfish? Do you think if I pretended that we would stop she would stay? She thinks of nobody but her bloody self that one.

My political views are very middle of the road. I am conservative about some things and liberal about others.
But after seeing the war between the Reps and the Dems here on answers..All the name calling and whatnot and the Dems calling the Reps warmongers and things like that...I just read that now that the Dems have taken control of the house they are pushing to reinstate the draft.
I am not biased towards either party but to me it seems hypocritical. Also this is something the Reps said they would never do.
my question is...
Do you think the President would Veto such a thing or do you think both parties are working together towards the same goal and all the mudslinging was a diversion to keep the public opinion elsewhere?

Would a light beam that travels say 10m take less time than a light beam that travels 5m to a mirror gets reflected and travels 5m in the opposite direction?

I know light's velocity is constant but what happens at the point of reflection at the mirror at the photonic scale? Do the photons slow down to 0m/s then speed up in the other direction?

I am a supervisor in a call center that has recently started devating people when there is no call volume, but requiring them to stay around so we can have them log back in if the call volume picks back up. I don't exactly think this is legal, and it's FAR from ethical, as we are tell the agents to log out, not paying them, and telling them that they can't go home.

I'm having a problem like so.

stream>>FirstName;
stream>>LastName;
stream>>IDnum;

Instead of outputting something such as

John Smith 45

It outputs this...

45n Smith

For some reason, after the LastName is printed, it goes to the beginning of the buffer and writes over the characters. FirstName and LastName are character arrays and not a strings, and that's what they have to be (class assignment). I've tried flush between LastName and IDnum, but that doesn't seem to work. Whats the problem?

Ok, I am dating 2 guys right now! This is something I am not completily comfortable with but i took the advice I got from you guys and did it anyways! They are always jealous of each other and I know I am going to have to make a decision soon or I will lose them both! But I still can’t decide! I like them both for different reasons!
