Yeah I was tested....how come I haven't called him? It's been 8 days since he heard from me. And what do I do after he leaves my house, do I go to sleep or leave? And how come when he called the other night I didn't answer my phone?

My answer was, just what is it that you're trying to ask? Don't be shy, come on, spit it out and say what's really on your mind.
I guessed I passed cause he shut up.

If you are referring to the test that insecure people place on someone who is unsuspecting, yes. I always pass this test because there really isn't such a test that anyone has devised as of yet. Simply put, how can you test an unsuspecting victim when usually you are unsure of what your mark will do? Stay with me... If you attempt to test a person, but the test is to find out what kind of person he/she is, then what happens if this person has a temporary lack of judgement, or the test actually is this persons threshold of temptation and they give in? Well, in either case, the "TESTEE" wins, by default of course. And if the testee, doesnt give in, they win by design. Its called a no lose situation. Be careful who you test, because in these cases, your test subject could make you the mark and in that case you lose!
When you test someone, its you that you are actually testing. We all know that there is no stronger adversary than ourselves.

Yes...and no. When I fail, I know it - and it makes me want to do better next time...so...I guess even the failures have some value.

Yes, recently robbed in Costa Rica. They got everything, passport, cash, credit cards, driver's license, reading glasses. No money and no way to get any.....my husband was not good about it, but I think it's better now. During the same time my refrigerator went out, and it took 5 weeks for them to get out to me. I still am without a frig. The I started downstairs and there was a coral snake heading down my hall. I have been praying, a lot and yes I think I passed the test fairly well.

Lately ???? Holy cow, Babygirl, I've survived two malignant tumors in my leg, and I'm still walking (by the Grace of God)....the second one caused me to close a 5 year home daycare....read: lost my very good income. I then spent the next three years enduring underemployment and underpay and over work.......my man hit a deer and survived uninjured (by the Grace of God) and used my car for the next 3 months, because he totalled his car.... I live close enough to walk to work...his mom died with what can be considered no insurance....his daughter attempted suicide.....I lost my job in August and finally started full time again in October....

We moved in together a year and a half ago....we've struggled with the financial repurcussions of our individual ordeals...we've kept his three kids and my three kids with a roof, a phone, food, and shoes.....

And finally, things seem to be making a very slow turn around, the oldest child is now in college in Florida, the suicidal stubborn one decided to go to private high school and is paying her own tuition...(she did get 2 scholarships) , my 17 year old autistic daughter is interacting socially and maintaining fair grades, his 14 year old is pulling close to a 4.0, discovering boys, booze, and pot,
my 13 year old ADHD son is maintaining fair grades and improving all the time and gaining some conception of social graces, his 12 year old son pulls close to a 4.0 and is a sports wonder. We more than love each other, my man and I, we respect and appreciate having each other in our lives, we take nothing for granted and we have worked together through all of this.

Finally, I anticipate a new year. 2007 is going to be so much kinder to us. We will still be recovering, but we have the means to recover now.......Yeah, I'd say we passed the test......Why do you ask?
