My daughter is 25 and has developed bald patches on the crown and nape of her hair. She's been told it's stress related and will grow back but she's really down about it. Does anyone know of any herb, or perhaps aromotherapy massage (or any alternative treatment that can help)? I'd be grateful for any advice I can give her, thanks a lot.

I have been out of a friends with benefits relationship for 3 months now and I feel like I am just starting to get over it and think it was a good decision. I am 24 she is 35 with 3 kids. She also claims to suffer from bipolar disorder but many people at work claim she is attention seeking. With had a friends with benefits relationship for 1 year until she told me she was sleeping with other guys and I got jealous and I had more feelings for her....actually love feelings. I told her this but she said she was in love with a guy who had a girlfriend.

I have been through a period of thinking these past few months, "she was so lovely and kind". But now I am beginning to see how she hurt me and it was a dangerous situation.

The thing is I feel a bit guilty still for leaving her as I wanted to take care of her and see she was ok and we got on well as friends but feel selfish that I couldn't put the jealousy on the backburner.

Was it a good choice do you think?

Is it possible for me to find an apartment (one room in 2 bedroom) in a safe Manhattan area for around $1000? I have been having councelling for depression but find it impossible to talk to her. I can only talk to one person as a friend who is the university chaplain, but he will be leaving to work at a local church.No one else not even my family will acknowledge that i have a problem. Hi all...here is what is up.I have been very withdrawn for the past few days.I am normally not sociable, but now i cant interact with people anymore, i prefer to watch TV or just lay down in my room, read a book...i am in one of the most beauitiful cities in the world but i cant even go out and have fun.I have blocked everyone out...and my own friends dont even call me when they go out anymore..and that hurts.I was seeing this guy but i cant stand the sight of him anymore..although sometimes i snap out of it and feel sorry...i am feeling so miserable...alone and crying ...i feel alone yet push away those who reach out.I dont know how to talk to people, i am very self conscious and cant wait to get out of a situation when people make an effort to talk to me.Please help.

my friend got throat cancer he 3 operations and radaition .he had all his teeth removed also.he has scars on his face and throat and face he can only swallow liquids his looks and speech are very bad.when he goes out in public most people are very rude and mean when he tries to speak people try to finish his sentences.why?

She thinks that I am going to Hell because i do not stay in my race. I'm sorry, but if i am attracted to you, I will date you, regardless of your color. She told me the other day that she was going to find every reason she could to stop me from dating black men. I have 2 mixed kids, for goodness sake!! The thing is that I have to live with her. for financial reasons I canot move out on my own. How can i make her see that there are good and bad in every race?? ok, i just got some contacts and i know how to put them in correctly, but they feel uncomfortable for some reason. this is my 3rd day of wearing them and they still feel uncomfortable, but they don't hurt. you know what i mean?
what can i do?
also, my eyes feel like they are drying out after the first 2 and a half hours.

Every few weeks I get an immediate stabbing pain in my left breast. It feels like a muscle spasm. It happens in a split second, and waits another couple of weeks. What do you think it could be?

I haven't been working out. And by the way, I really don't think it could be a sign of a heart attack. I can't even drink yet, and i'm not overweight.

It's my first year at university as a mature student at 22. Before that I was working in HR at a media company. I decided to to a media degree because it was my favourite subject at school. Im now wishing I continued working as I'm studying with a bunch of immature kids that don't take uni seriously. I wont finish uni til im 25 and I feel like im missing out on doing things like travelling and gaining more work experience. By the time I finish I'll be just starting out in a career and then have to start immediately saving for a house, renting at the same time and who knows maybe thinking about children soon. I think I've made a mistake in going Uni. Has anyone else been through this?. Am I being unpatient? I thought Uni was going to be fun and that there'd be a wide variety of people I can relate to but its not the case it's boring, the tutors are unhelpful and the other students dont really care abput passing at all. Any advice anyone?
