I head that people got shot when they were in line because of ps3, and they stores are getting robed.... there are people camping outside of the stores here when it isn't even coming out for another 3 weeks.

It's a feature-packed gaming system boasting multimedia capabilities, realistic graphics, and Internet connectivity. Even so, I really don't think its worth killing over even if though they were in absurdly low supply. If these people had even a pillful of brains, they would have waited for a few months for Sony to produce more PS3s and iron out the bugs. It's shamefully amazing what people do when something they want to get their hands on is in low supply, I tell you.

eThe PS3 is a HOME COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT system. It has a blu ray DVD player inside of it as well as your choice of a 60GB or 20Gb hard drive. Wireless,motion sensitive controller.You can also surf the web with it. If you are the kind of electronics guru that has HDTV and surround sound, then you want this machine,especially for the blu ray. Go price a blu ray DVD player, you'll be lucky to find one under 900 bucks. As for the first response to your question, there should be a correction made. There were 2 million PS3's worldwide and another 4 million will be available worldwide by springtime.

It is a great system, but people are getting hurt because it is most likely poor people who will sell the ps3 on ebay for thousands of dollars, and they want the extra money for themselves or their families, its just like car theft, allot of the robbers are poor and are trying to provide for themselves or their families, but it is still way crazy

Nothing - experts say it is being sold with flaws and errors and that play station 2 is the best deal. Stupid people just have to have the newest even if it is the worst. Some will get just what they need and deserve.

even though it was released on friday,stores usually dont get the actual shipments till a few weeks later.... the camp out people get vouchers and when all the vouchers are gone, then they start actually putting them in stores...
