I work in a school lunch room and we have daily choice of PB&J, with my vegan/ nonpork eating children I am very picky about cross contact, One of my co-workers would get upset with me and and throw potato wedges on plates I was being cautious with, when I spoke to my boss about it she said I was going overboard. i adopted a child about 12 years ago she has an older sister and a younger brother the state split them up i dont know who adopted the other two but they were called by the gov.of missouri then he called me and tol me that the adopted family did not want the children to meet this is not fair the children did not ask the state to split them what can i do my daughter wants to see her family she has never seen her brother and the last time she saw her sister she was almost 2 years old so she dose not remember but she crys for them its really heard on her

My nephew is a bright 11 year old for his age. Up to recently, he has read books about 4 years or greater than his age. In fact, he has tended to read more than 1000 pages a week and hide behind books. He is sharp witted and over time was recognized as gifted and talented. He tends to be a bit of a know it all and certainly apt to argue with anyone including adults about anything. If he could be a certain occupation for his age, he would be a lawyer.

Here is the problem: This year his grades (which got him into a school for advanced children) have gone from A's and B's to F's. He is doing his homework but taking absolutely forever. He is not turning in his homework which his mother can vouch has been completed the night before. He states that he "can't remember" if he did or not. But the teachers are failing him. He is getting into arguments with kids his age. His parents find him exceedingly difficult. Lately, he is monopolizing everyone's time with conversation about his stuff.

in the old testament there is a god who is one mean bastard who has killed millions and advices the killing of people through torturous means for such little things.

in the gospels you have the kindest most compassionate god that has ever been described.

there is a lot of controversy over this question....for many people believe that the lord jesus of the gospels is not the same mean god of the old testament.

My husband lies to me about money - pretty much regardless of the situation. Previously - we paid our own bills. That wasn't working, I always had to replinish his accounts. So - he had his entire paycheck deposited into my account and I give him an allowance. (He did this on his own volition) But - now he just writes multi-thousand dollar checks on my account to access money. Without telling me. So - our finances are screwed up. They stay screwed up. He says he is scared to talk to me .... but why? I don't throw things, I don't hit him...I typically just help him out. My biggest issue here is God said to be married through good and bad. Not to just cut & run....

Why do people want to put their name or stamp on something substandard or shoddy? I can remember back as far as high school when the drama teacher had a prop I did repainted because it was not well enough(and I knew it, but still)I was ticked. Not so much that someone else painted over my work. But that I was not able to do it well enough and gave them the opportunity to knock it. When people see something I do I want them to go "Oh WOW!" Pos, not "OMG! Who in the heck did that!?" Neg. I never wanted to have my name attached to something substandard so I always did everything I could to make sure what I did was top notch, But a lot of people do not seem to care. They will do the very minimum and not more. And don't care how well the end result is.
