I mean I remeber one time with my friends, whenever they asked me about girls and girlfirends and where I take them out, I would go quiet and change the subject.I jsut sometimes wonder what if a person were to do that thruoghout his whole life.

i broke up with my ex because the was being over protective and would not let me go out with my friends. they day before we split i lied to him so i could see my friends yeah i knw it was wrong anyway he found out and he hit me. he gave me a black eye broken rib and a broken nose, but the worst thing i we split a month ago and now i want him back what do i do? plz help

This site is a perfect example of how horrendous the average person's English is. Reading questions and answers on here makes me cringe.

Personally I am fairly anal about the English language, but it seems I am in the minority. Does anyone else care? Or do I need to accept that this is how the modern world is now?

My bestfriend moved overseas for work.. we promised that wed stay in touch no matter what. He and I had a lot going when he was here. We used to hangout every single day. he's more than family to me. He's been gone for about a month, and I thought I could play it tough. But really it's very hard it hurts, I barely am happy... Ive tried meeting new folks, but they dont do it for me. He and I email almost 2-3 times a week. I know he is busy with work, and has limited internet access. Sometimes when I dont hear from him in a week it drives me nuts. What should I do? I honestly dont want to sound pushy and ask him to do more... But he's emails make my day, I just feel so alone sometimes. He went to Europe, I have to stay in the US to work on my MBA.
