No, these two nation`s are embracing the global nature of corporate business. You may not see it at home, but the multi-nationals tentacles reach the world over and are already harvesting handsome profits made as a result of exploiting poorer countries with less sophisticated social infrastructure. Military might, corporate greed and absolutely no consciencse what-so-ever all add up to a continuation of world domination as opposed to a demise. I find it distasteful to say the least.

They are not yet lost. There still exists many possibilities for both nations to stay "afloat". It all comes down to making the right choices.
