For example, since Gore won the popular vote in Illinois, then all the electors should, in theory, have voted for Gore. Of course, there's no law that prohibits faithless voting, but I don't think faithless voting is what caused Gore to lose the electoral college. So why exactly did Gore lose the presidential election in 2000?

When my best friend told me that she was in a lesbian relationship with one of her other friends. I got angry because I had developed feeling for her and I let her know, she admitted to me that she had feeling for me but we decided to just go on being friends but her lover is always jeolous of me and she act like she's afraid of her. She tries to get me and her lover together as friends and I've tried to be her lovers friend just to please her. But the truth is I can't stand of lover and sometimes I think she is using me to make her lover jeolous so it can bring them closer together...I hope this is not the case.. because this woman would do anything for me...lend me money or anything I ask for.....we had lunch Sun and it was great....but her lover called and she made sure she told her that I had brought her lunch and then she told me that her lover got jeolous. I have feelings for her. What should I do.

Ok normally i call my boyfriend everyday. Today I resolved not to call him because 1 I don't have anything to talk about and 2 I"m going to be seeing him tomorrow and I will probably call him the morning to firm up details and 3 to give him a little space. Ok. After reading some answers to various questions, I have a SERIOUS question here. I'm not trying to start a fight, I am just trying to get a straight answer (no pun intended).

Since the Old Testament "laws" are no longer valid, i.e. man with mankind like a woman, why do Christians then use adultery and pre-marital sex as a reason for homosexuality being wrong?

Knowing that our government (well, former government at least) wouldn't allow gay marriage, wouldn't this be unfair?

If our goverment allowed gay marriage (since they shouldn't make laws based on religion anyways, right?), then does that mean homosexuality would then be okay and accepted by Christianity?

If the basis of your argument is pre-marital sex and adultery is a sin, therefore homosexuals are a sin because they can't get married, couldn't it just all be solved by allowing gay marriage?

What would the Christian view point on homosexuality be then?
