While tutoring for the PSAT’s I can across this question

Jill can shovel a drive way in 20 Min and Mike can do the same driveway in 50 min
If they work together how long will it take them to shovel the driveway?

My question is How do you solve this using math you would find in pre-calc or earlier?

0o, I have carpel tunnel- numbness in my fingers, hands, and arms, especially at night! I do have the wrist braces to use at night, but I find that I must use an elaveted pillow/wedge, and 2 pillows on each side of my body to rest my hands on, if I try to turn to either side, the opposite hand/arm will begin to hurt/burn, like when your foot falls asleep.
does anyone else suffer from this, and is there any vitamins that will help with my poor circulation.
any advice greatly appreciated.

I don't know what he is going through because I have never been through that situation before so I would like to know how to give him the support to stay on the clean and narrow. He has been clean for three years but he's starting to hang out with his old friends that are acctive drug user's. Has anyone seen this Italian movie-- a young woman is engaged to a mobster. She meets a younger hotter guy and begins an affair with him. There's a scene where the mobster's grandmother comes to her apartment because she suspects something. She throws a shoe under the bed to see if the guy is hiding there. He is, but she doesn't catch him because he;s hanging onto the bedsprings and holding himself off the floor.... Anyone know the title?

okay the whole unprotected sex thing happened in i think late september. so i had a period about 3 to 4 days later but havent had one since. i have some of the symtoms like having to constanly go to the bathroom something ive never had to do before. tiredness and moodshifts. back aches. i get nausea but never throw up. and i just stopped having these sudden and horrible headaches.at first i thought i was just late but if i was i would have had my period by now. please dont answer this unless your sure of your answer. i wanted some advice before i take a test.

i was watching the news the other day and saw this women that had just had a baby and did not even know she was pregnant. she had a healthy 7 and some odd oz baby boy. She said that she thought she was just getting fat because she had just quit smoking. Ok i really can't beileve that that could happen. Has anyone else ever heard of this happening? how do you not know that you are pregnant?

Last night I dropped a piece of paper that was plastic coated. It was part of the packaging to some bacon. It was about 5 inches long and maybe an 1/8 inch wide. The cat grabed it before I could pick it up. He took off running with it as I chased him to get it away. He won, he ate it. Do you think I should be concerned or will it just work its way back out? As an american (which im not, hence the question) how did you view the underlying political commentary in this film? I felt it was the best piece of satire on America I'd seen for a long time, very subtle, very effective, very funny, but what did US viewers think of it politically? Im thinking the Rodeo sequence in particular, booing the idea that Kazakhstan is the best country in the world (it is pretty nice), but cheering the idea of Bush bathing in the blood of innocents? I need the answers to these questions about the book "animal farm". I listend to the audio version, and so i don't kno were in the book the qoutes and page numbers are.
