Personally, I think that's a bunch of bull. You feel the baby kick what do they think that is? At one point you an definatly tell it's not gas or anything like that. I'm pregnant with my second and well, I don't believe these women who say they don't know when they are pregnant...so much happens to your body when you're pregnant...it's just how could you not know? unless you're really stupid I guess..I dont know.

I've actually heard of this happening a lot. My cousin thought she was just getting fat, (she's always been kind of heavy) and tied for months to loose the weight. Finally after her feet started to swell, her mom told her to go to the Dr. and he told her not only was she pregnant, but was due in 2 weeks! On a side note: The reason she didn't think she was pregnant was she was still having her period!

My older cousin had no idea. She and her husband had been trying for years and gave up. She had also always been on the heavy side. She thought she had the flu over Thanksgiving and thought nothing of it. She had her period every month (they had never been real heavy or lasted very long) One day she thought sh was getting her period and had really bad cramps. She gave birth on her bathroom floor about an hour later. She had a boy about 6 lbs. She was alone at the time too. She stayed home sick with cramps. How crazy is that.

It also said though she had regular periods. What i dont understand is no matter how fat you are you still feel the baby kick. What did she think this was gas? I have never heard of it before no. I think it was weird for her not to know she was pregnant.

Yeah I heard of soemthing similar here where I live. The only thing I can think of is maybe they never missed a period. Some women get their period while being pregnant. I still don't see how they would not worry about the kicking in their abdoman though.

I have heard of this before too. I really don't believe anyone that says this though. Coming from a mom of four children. When your pregnant baby starts to move around and kick alot especially when they get bigger. It would be really hard to disregard that foot in your ribcage.

When my sister went into labor, there was another family in the waiting room talking about a teenager that went into labor and didn't know shew as pregnant. I highly doubt she didn't know, they said she is build like me (5'2" and 110lbs). I would KNOW if I were pregnant. You can't hide a baby in my tummy without showing. I think it's their way of getting attention or, in this teens case, trying not to look as guilty maybe? It doesn't make sense.

Yes I've heard of it, but I have a hard time believing it. I saw that myself, I don't understand how people cannot feel a baby kicking and moving around inside you. Probably just did it for attention.

I had a friend who had a baby and never knew that she was pregnant.. so yes, it does happen. HOW? I have no idea. If you dont get your period and you gain weight.. dont you assume that you are pregnant and take a test? Or see a doctor or something?
