I think its a shame that modern man in his feeble attempt to glorify himself has to belittle the greatness of the past in order to achieve a higher level of advancement!! The Ancient Wonders of the past are absolutely mind boggling and magnificent.......no disrespect to our fabulous buildings of modern times but look at what they did with primitive methods of tools and limited resources...
They still can figure out how they built these structures and how they have withstand-ed all the years of time??
Do we as Mankind really want to teach our children the false teachings or misguided views of ignorant would-be marvels???

What a load of rubbish, I just checked out their website, seems like a great way to get loads of peoples e-mails and sell them to spammers!
They don't have any categories.
There should be the ancient wonders < 500ad
Pyramids, Pharaohs lighthouse, hanging gardens, etc ...
The middle age wonders 500 < 1800ad
Great wall, taj mahal, Cistine chapel, etc
Modern wonders 1800 < 2000
Sydney opera house, empire state building,
the new wonders 2000+
Then there are the natural wonders
Grand canyon (USA), Victoria falls (Zimbabwe), Pink & White terraces (Rotorua, NZ), Giants causeway (Ireland), etc
I have visited many of the "wonders" of the world and each has its own merits, and to be hnest they only way you can experience them ( the ones that still exist that is) is to see them
Personally I would not give that website the time of day, what a waste of peoples time.

In the antiquity, they were seven wonders from which only the Egyptian pyramids exist still.
In our times each time when a beautiful space is discovered , journalist call them seven wonders. this expression has now lost significance

I think that it's stupid too. The wonders of the world are not physical places or items, but actual miracles of life.

i think they should have a great vote on the greatest wonders, and i think they should be of something, we do not know anything about, so it makes it a "wonder"
